“Those who stay will be champions”
― Bo Schembechler
Oh, well then why didn't you say so? When was the last time something untrue was said on MLive?
Almost sounds like with his "recruiting is a process" thing that he has been looking for some constant love from coaches...Have Brady & Co been in as much contact with him since he committed?
Sounds like a Daddy that wants the attention, might be better off without a "package" deal....I'm sure an SEC school will also give daddy a job on their newly created recruiting positions....Since the NCAA has lifted the limit on number of coaches allowed to be out on recruiting trail I'm sure the Bama's of the world will employ an army. Oh and maybe fill those spots with some people that have talented sons that play football...
At least 12 at a time. He may be taking potshots at the B1G, but he's also showing clear favoritism to the SEC, and that could turn off coaches from other conferences too.
It's not his twitter. Does this look like the twitter of Biff Poggi (attached)? Your statement is not true about his sons. There is not one mention of his sons, one of which plays in B10 and one which is committed to the B10. This is clearly a troll trying to stir things up.
Here are all 14 of the Biff Poggi account tweets. This has been already been 99% debunked.
Search the world's information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

I just don't understand it in relation to the UM staff. I'm sure the staff can handle the weekly allowed phone call to recruits. Unless Poggi is alluding to some SEC schools breaking the rules. In which case, I don't really know what to say.
Uncle Newt, are you aware that that account is retweeted by Gilman Football and is followed by Henry?
Yah but I'm not convinced that matters. It's easy to get followed, followed back, and retweeted if they like what you say.
There is a slight chance it's his but:
Many have stated that this is not like the Biff Poggi they know.
Imagine you're the highly respected coach of Gilman; your players are recruited nationally; like Hoke you're not a social media fan; you have two sons committed to or playing in the Big 10; .... Are these the 14 random tweets your going to make?
When you have an account on twitter and your not just some random guy or some random father of a recruit, when you represent a proud private school and a proud family you tweet like you're running for President. Or maybe your next college coaching job. Are these the 14 tweets you want to represent your family, your personal brand, and Gilman? One of them was: "wizard of oz is a little nutty" and another "check out this website..."? Two were the same tweet about SEC and BIG 10 recruiting.
Also, as far as Henry following the account, maybe he want's to know what the fake Biff is saying? Henry's private account doesn't follow him.

I have a simple rule: I trust almost noting on Twitter, without other confirmation. Twitter is a cesspool of degenerates.
This could be Biff, may not be. We just don't know. I reserve judgement.
Hey, don't talk an out Rico and Leon McQuay's dad like that!
Especially when the guys state school for the DC/Baltimore area, Maryland, just joined the B1G.
I'm honestly not here to pick a fight. I'm obviously an MSU first guy but I'm also fiercely loyal to the B1G because I'm from Michigan. I found the guys comments completely insulting. Bama certainly doesn't have more resources than you do. What did he mean by that? Makes me think improper benefits immediately. Unless the dude is fishing for a job on that staff.
One of his other sons is at Iowa too, doesn't make any sense.
I've moved on to better than Leons father! Real Housewives!!
I don't worry about twitter, but the worrisome part to me is that the Poggi's haven't come out and debunked these rumors by now.
The Poggi's, or at least Biff Poggi, apparently don't/won't comment on this kind of stuff to either confirm or deny. When asked at the UA game about an official, Poggi strongly denied any such rumors, but hell, a lot can change in two weeks.
Hell, we don't even know if it was an OV. All we know is what the Poggi's have said, which was that they talked to Hoke about "unofficially" going to see an old friend, and Hoke gave him permission. And also, recent interviews/tweets by Henry have been pro-Michigan.
I'd just let a couple days go by and wait til Henry speaks before we commence the meltdown.

Yeah, since the Poggi's don't really talk to the media, there's a ton of disinformation and conflicting reports. I suppose we'll have to wait for Henry to say one way or another publicly.
I don't follow twitter and i'm not really sure how things work over there so forgive me if this question comes off sounding stupid. Does Henry have some of our other verbals following his Twitter and if so do they have anything posted on this? Maybe they have/could shoot some tweets Henry's way?

There are tweets that go back to last summer talking about Gilman football, so I assumed it was his;...if it's not, the "Te'o" put in a lot of time to act like Poggi....
Maybe it's Saban trolling as Poggi.....or one of his PR guys.....wouldn't be a shock to see an SEC school resort to that...Heck, they got away with $180000 to Cam, Twitter has to be easy...
Or, he just doesn't care what the fans think, or saying. I'm in the camp of this not ending well, but Henry Poggi not making a statement, doesn't mean anything.
Someone on mgoblog said it was was talked about on WTKA today.
"Poggi's dad, who is Gilman's coach, regularly makes trips like this to colleges he may send kids to. Henry went along to see his buddy who he played with last year. Alabama bloogers pictured it as an official which it wasn't."
Aside from the rumors about whether the account is fake or not, it is completely unbelievable.
1. How would Mattison and Borges not know how to recruit like the SEC? Weren't they there when Meyer was there? They have obviously been recruited by Michigan, so they have been recruited by coaches who know how to recruit with the SEC.
2. You don't call your son's conference (and other son's soon-to-be conference) "irrelevant"
3. Why make an exception for Meyer...(who has called Mattison the best recruiter in the past)?
