I know we have awhile before the game gets here, but don't really have anything better to talk about. Give me your score prediction for the game and 3 keys to the game.
UM: 24 Carolina: 17
1. Keep Connor Shaw in the pocket
2. Stay out of 3rd and long situations (obvious passing downs)
3. Win Turnover Battle
"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
SC 24- UM 13
1. Limit UM gains on 1st down
2. Force UM to throw downfield
3. Contain the UM QB, especially if it ends up being Denard.
I hope we get the SC team that showed up against Kentucky, Wofford, and Vandy
Similar to the Sugar Bowl last year. Two defensive oriented teams with good but not great offenses. As always, TOs will be big, but IMO whichever team is able to shake off the rust on offense and get out to an early lead will hold on to win a close one.

I have been horrific all season on predictions, but here we go.
1. Devin Gardner gets exploded on a play action that doesn't fool a single defender.
2. Denard gains about 60 yards on 12 touches.
3 Everyone else (not denard or devin) manages about 20 yards on 15 carries
4. Ace Sanders scores or sets up a score on a return.
Final score: USCe 16, UM 10
If you notice there is a trend to your teams. We play down to competition.
Vandy gameplanned for us an entire Summer
Wofford runs the triple option. They had 4 3 and out's to start the game. We kept turning the ball over.
You will see the same team that played UGA, LSU (leading in Death Valley until 5:39 in the 4th) and Clemson.
No doubt about it. This team will be up.
Well I didn't mention UF, who destroyed you. Don't say you played great against LSU...you didn't. I watched the game. They ran all over you and Carolina was down 9 points late. The game was not as close as the score suggested. I didn't mention Tennessee either. Just saying.....the only certain thing is you don't know what team will show up and there is no way to predict it until Jan 1.
We didn't play great against LSU on offense. But the defense like all year was stellar. We couldn't stop Hill rushing the ball. The score wasn't as close as suggested? We were winning 14-10 going into the 4th quarter. They went up 23-21 in the 4th Quarter we were driving and threw an INT on the 50 with 12 seconds left.
Playing LSU in Death Valley at night is a game you don't want. We had just absolutely drug UGA the week before, it was a battle.
As for UF we committed 3 TO's to start off....it was rough.
You seem to be looking for a pissing match. I'll pass.
Oh, and as for Tennessee...I think it was a little emotional for players. The best RB in the nation went down with a nasty injury.
You are superior clearly. If you think our Defense is going to roll over for you though, you are sadly mistaken. Best of luck. I'll pass on posting anymore on your board.

Pissing match? No. Just stating what I've seen. Need to relax....don't get all butthurt and act like sparty fans. I simply said that you guys have been inconsistent on a regular basis. If you don't wanna post here anymore....fine by me.
After 3 coaching debacles this year I have to go with USCe 42-10. This game will be hard for us to watch. The OSU game was all I could handle. The coaches had good options but managed to stay away from anything that would have been effective in the second half. The Michigan coaching staff outside of Mattison looks very much like the Lloyd era all over except they are recruiting better. The OSU game was as tough to watch as any game I have ever watched. I knew in the 3rd that it was over because we weren't going to do anything that worked just run 165lb running backs up the middle and get stuffed the rest of the game. We ran our weakness right into the strength of the OSU defense. Who would have guessed that wouldn't have worked? The Michigan coaching staff not only failed to adapt they abandoned everything that was working. It was as boneheaded as any Rose Bowl loss of the Carr era. Right now this Michigan team should have one loss. With any common sense on the sidelines it's one loss. I hope I'm wrong but I know what I've seen in the losses against UN, ND, and OSU. Whatever approach is obviously the worst Borgess will take. After years of losing every big game under the sun in the Carr era I was really hoping this coaching staff could make this program a contender with the big boys. I just don't see it. We gift wrapped the game for OSU. Good coaching staffs don't make such mistakes in the biggest game of the year.
My guess is you didn't graduate from Michigan? Is that accurate? I don't have anyone in my family who are UM grads and use words like "butthurt"
You run your mouth a good bit. I was contributing to your example.
As for your chest beating, that's another thing. I uphold Michigan in the highest regard as it relates to football. With that I have to be honest with you. No one in the SEC is impressed by Notre Dame. I realize they are 12-0 but we all know that the refs won them the games over PITT and Stanford. Both games were laughable in calls. You should tout it as a big win. That is fine. But, we both know that Bama and ND aren't even in the same league. See both your battles this year as an example.
We will have to wait, but I fully expect Bama to destroy ND. Absolutely destroy.
Good luck, and let me know if you are a Michigan grad.
Not a Michigan grad....why does that matter? I guess I can't be fan of Michigan? Run my mouth.... I didn't even say anything negative about your team other than they've been inconsistent. Check my other posts. I said both teams are evenly matched for the most part and it will be a good game. Thats how you accumulate a large fanbase. USCe should take notes, instead of only having fans from their own state. I don't know what point you're trying to make, but go ahead and make it already. As for Bama vs ND. Everyone said ND would be destroyed by Stanford, OU, the real USC, and so on. So I'm not counting them out.
I have to research more about their team to make an informed guess, but I'd say it's anywhere from a 17-13 USC win to a 23-20 Michigan win. I expect both defenses will do pretty well, but again I have to look up more on their offense to be sure. I could be wrong and they could blow us out. Ya never know.
Do you guys think that the Michigan defense will force Shaw to throw downfield, or will they allow him to play to his strengths of frequently hitting his check downs and scrambling for yards?
UM is predicated on not giving up big plays. So I think the check downs, bubble screens, and lots of passes to your TE Cunningham will be in the fold. Gotta keep Ace Sanders in check tho for sure.
I knew you weren't a Michigan grad, and therefore, yes your points don't matter to me.
Michigan grads don't use words like "butthurt" and I certainly don't understand the pompousness from someone that didn't even attend the institution.
Ducks I agree, right now the over/under is 48.
So you have to graduate from a particular institution to give your perspective on their team? Ya, makes sense to me too.
If you're going to come to the opposing team's board and get offended over something that petty; maybe you should go back to your board.
Man you sound way too much like a Michigan State fan.
Thinkin' the same thing Willy
No...but when you go here:
"Well I didn't mention UF, who destroyed you. Don't say you played great against LSU...you didn't. I watched the game. They ran all over you and Carolina was down 9 points late. The game was not as close as the score suggested. I didn't mention Tennessee either. Just saying..."
And don't really know what you are talking about using words then like butthurt when I tell you the real deal...well then.
Central Michigan grad?
I have heard you mention Ace and Byrd, but not Bruce. Bruce has actually developed into arguably our best WR the last few games. He had 2 TD's in the Clemson game- the first one was a very nice grab. If your defense does not adjust and take the checkdowns away from Shaw, it could be a long game. He will dink and dunk you to death- see the Mizzou game.
Bruce is a threat but I think he's assumed that role cuz Ace Sanders gets so much attention. Plus they line Ellington up all over the place anyway so he prolly get a lot of different looks. But yes, Ellington is a great two sport athlete that we gotta keep a lid on. I say just cut the head off the snake (Shaw) and be done with it. SC has a lot of weapons...kinda reminds me of ohio type offense.
Ask your friend Cock Kool Aid....he's a graduate of USCe. He has used the word "butthurt", not our fault you don't use the term. And yes, I did go there because that's the truth. I'm glad that y'all have been having 10 win seasons. I'm just saying the Gamecocks normally drop a game or two they shouldn't. They do not dominate the teams they should be a great team like Bama and LSU for the most part. Sorry its the truth. Read the handwriting on the wall.
