I agree with that, but however this isnt just Gardner. Where have the receivers been this whole year? I just think for rest of year Denard is the guy, its who the guys have been running with. I think Gardner definetly just said I should be number one depth chart at QB for next year.
Yup, I'm more than willing to admit I was wrong about Bellomy. I was completely unaware of his deficient arm strength.
The receivers have been in the same place, Gardner is just giving them a better chance to catch the ball.
It was hard to see, but I appreciate you owning it. I did not know either way.
I overestimated Bellomy and underestimated Gardner
I didn't think Gardner was going to be this good after his appearances against Illinois and MSU last year.
Accuracy and getting the ball to the receiver on time.
And for some reason they're not dropping it today.
It will be interesting to see, I just would rather go in the stretch run for experience and one of the more dynamic players in the nation than Devin. At least if Denard isn't healthy to go next week, we know the team wont completely fall apart like it did in Lincoln
in the spring game all he was throwing was checkdowns. I always argued against Bellomy as a future starter, DG has shown me something this game though. Then again when DG got pt last year against MSU it was obvious he was a better option for a downfield passing game, just wasn't sold on him being consistent enough.
I'd rather go down the stretch with whoever makes the offense more effective. Devin appears to make the offense more complete than Denard.
is it strange that I am more confident in our defense on 4th and 1 then I am on 4th and medium?
JT will always struggle with PI.

Man are they attacking Floyd. They haven't thrown Taylor's way much today.
That's a terrible call on Ryan.
Is it more that they're just going towards Gray? Feel like Floyd has been on him most of the game.
Based on a game against Minnesota? Denard made the offense look like a world beater against Purdue and Illinois as well. Think all those practice sessions speak otherwise to the coaches. However in end I'm pulling for whoever is wearing winged helmet and that Sparty can get a W today and keep B1G dream alive
Denard was still largely one dimensional against those teams, Devin has shown to be successful in both the passing and running game.
Never mind, guess it's just Floyd. He gets way too many PI calls.
He didn't even touch him.
Although I have no idea how that was PI.
DR hasn't looked like an efficient passer against any team this season. I'd take my chances with a guy that can complete passes consistently.

Minnesota has the #27 ranked defense this year FWIW.
