He's also said he's nervous about the announcement.
"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
Got word that Jamie Oakes from our Virginia page will be at Green's announcement at 4PM EST on Saturday. He will have quotes from Green afterward.
What does that mean....i'm sure a lot of reporters will be there
This is one of those times when I love living in Mountain Time. I only have to wait until 2pm. Less time waiting after I wake up.
Soooo he's going to Virginia?
dang...didn't see that coming
Ohh cool guy. I'm going to go to his announcement tomorrow!
No but for real can people attend his announcement?
Well it's official. Auburn's RB coach is heading back to the NFL.
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
meh, they're a dumpster fire anyway
Recruiting is a lot easier when your competition repeatedly shoots itself in the foot.
Not that it means anything, but SWebb wasn't on the Michigan Insider show today due to a "last minute assignment". Could he be in VA?? Who knows...but if he is, I have a hard time believing Webb would go out there if he wasn't almost 100% sure Green=Blue...

I had the same thought when I listened to the WTKA podcast this morning..
Mix the color Yellow and Blue. What do you get? Green.
Nice re-tweets by Derrick Green here:

I just came over here to post that. Darn you.
It would be a combination of him/his family loving Michigan and seeing a great opportunity, as well as not having plausible secondary options. This would not be a "chosen by default" scenario in my opinion. Our coaches have been recruiting Green extremely hard since we lost out on Isaac. I forget who pointed it out, but he is the only RB we've had visit Ann Arbor since May. That's some serious dedication by our coaches, and a strong indicator of how they feel about him.
I'm not going to sit here and say the situation at Auburn and Tennessee won't contribute to his decision, but Green really likes Michigan.
I just don't get the line that he chooses UT or AU because they are in the SEC. Big Whoop, unless you are Bama, LSU or UGA I don't see why these other schools keep using that. If he comes to Michigan and has a great career in the B1G the NFL will find him anyways
Exactly. Besides, it wasn't as if Michigan was ONLY up against Auburn and Tennessee. Green was courted by pretty much everyone with a football program. That's a win.
I dont give a flying %&*# how he gets here, this is an impact freshman, and thats all i care about lol
Really hope we land this kid, and obviously those words don't really do my feelings justice.
Kid could a beast for us next year, along side Deveon Smith and that is a mighty impressive haul.
Still nervous, no matter what anyone says.
This sure does make me feel a lot better. Auburn's RB coach is also a goner, so that pretty much leaves us with Tennessee.
Definitely liking our chances more and more, and he's retweeting only Michigan fans/pages so far. Let's hope he's not giving us false hope!
