A Gin and Tonic is the perfect summer drink, IMO. Very refreshing.
This made me throw up a little in my mouth. My first Welcome Week at Michigan included a night of G&Ts that resulted in passing out in some bushes while trying to pee and then sneaking off to puke the whole next day (while pretending to be fine helping my roommate and his parents move his stuff in). Can't stand the smell of a G&T to this day.
I feel the same way towards Jager.
Beer: Old Speckled Hen, Tetleys, Guinness
Scotch: Lagavulin 16, Balvenie portwood 21 year old
Bourbon: Woodford Reserve, Pappy Van Winkle 20 year
Gin: Hendricks (awesome with muddled cucumber, tonic and lime)
Tequila: Clase Azul, Partida Elegante
Vodka: Jewel of Russia
Have you had the backwoods bastard? That blew my mind.
Good call here. I'd never tried it until a couple weeks ago. Definitely a fan.
I really like long islands
It is a great beer owned by an American company in PA, oldest brewery in the US.
I love it as well.
No I haven't. Is "backwoods" the brewery? Scotch Ales and Porters are my favorite beers.
It definitely earned a spot in my rotation! This may be a stupid question, but do most bars/restaurants have it? I've never really looked for it, so I don't know either way.
Nope. Its still founders. Its there Scotch ale but they bourbon barrel age it.
Hmmm, alright, I'm adding it to the shopping list. I haven't heard of it, so I'm going to guess I'm not going to be finding it at Meijer. I'll head to a specialty shop and pick up a few.
Nothin better than a nice ice cold 24 oz 9% Swamp Water Ale.
Draw that tap at 33% with a nice head and WOW is this good!
If u wana get a lil crazy shots of tequila with salt and lime are always good
---Founders is a great beer and new holland mad hatter rivals two hearted.
I can not drink bud light or miller lite....and if you actually havent had a regular bud in a while, try onethey are the great american beer.
I hate to say it aw well, but if I am not going to be drinking a craft beer, i love the dryness of corona. Its a beer you can drink a million of.
After 4 tall founders you have just injested about 4000 calories!
Now that I am 32 and into fitness and bodybuilding....grey goose and soda is great for no carbs and low cal. GG also leaves less of a hangover then most other drinks.
----Woodford reserve.....never tried it, but i have heard from a ton of people on here it is amazing. I also keep hearing about wild turkey with honey.
You should try Basil Hayden or Booker. Oh, and ditch the rocks.
Beer: Anything by Bells. Especially their Two Hearted Ale and Hopslam are my two go to beers right now.
Liquor: Capt Morgan + Coke.
If I'm drinking cheap, Miller Lite.

I drink scotch neat, but prefer 2 cubes of ice with bourbon.
You know whats really good if you have some Jack and want to try something new.....Jack and root beer, the charcoal filtration of the Jack pairs well with the sassafras of the root beer
hmm... that does sound like an interesting combination
I don't drink.
