If you knew of a school doing shady business. How would you go about reporting it anonymously?
And would taking a football team to a private country club be a violation?? If so would you blow the whistle? Esp. it was one of your most hated teams/rivalry?

What would be the point? It'd be more likely I was found out and blacklisted from coaching circles than the NCAA actually hands out an actual punishment that fit the infraction.
From what I've heard, you can't report anything anonymously to the NCAA. As BKP alluded to, that may be one reason so many things go unreported, because people fear the possible repercussions coming back on them once they do.
You should detail it here first anonymously.
Members can weigh in on whether or not it's a violation. Who knows, maybe others have witnessed the same thing in East Lansing.
I understand the concern about repercussions. Stay anonomous for now. But don't hesitate to do something to move the needle on cleaning up football.
Trust the "crowd" effect.

I thought MSU wasn't a rival?
tRCMB - Where MSU fans eat their own.
What if, hypothetically, I made something up on the Internet about a rumor that CRAIG JAMES KILLED 5 HOOKERS then how would I report that.

I have to believe that if something was against NCAA rules the program wouldn't make such a spectacle of it. I mean, "taking a football team to a private country club" screams of being noticed. A large group of large men, coaches, figures that people would recognize... I can't imagine anyone in charge of a team letting something like that happen if it was a rules violation. It's like, the antithesis of being discreet.
Hey, you guys are the ones who insist on it.
No. The only ones who say MSU isn't a rival of Michigan is MSU fans. Michigan fans insist MSU is a rival just not our biggest rival.

Wow really? Never heard about that. You should report that to someone.

Go Blue and Go Titans!
oh well, guess we'll just have to settle with Dantonio owning the state for the fifth straight year then. gosh darnit, what we really want though is for you guys to finally accept us as a rival...
East Lansing- A Drinking Town with a Football Problem
Cool story bro.
So, you just assume that the football team going to dinner at a country club, the coaches included, means something nefarious is taking place? how do you feel about the Michigan football banquet then? Is that a violation?
For the love of Trevor...™
How did this thread become about MSU, and why are we feeding MSU trolls?
Feeding MSU?!? I smell a violation!!!
Attempt of Banquet!
What about when the entire Michigan football senior class getting a vacation to southern California in May? Are they looking into that too?
This isn't your board, either post with respect as a guest, or feel free not to stop by anymore.
This is your warning.
This goes to all of the new "guests" on this board as well.
"losing Caleb Benenoch is a blow that Dantonio will never recover from. Izzo has lost it as well. Hoke and Beilein own the state."
I highly doubt this is an ncaa violation. It would be nice to know what they're feeding them though with all that weight Lawrence Thomas has put on in such a short period of time.
