One of my good friends is a Syracuse fan and even he thinks MCW will not be a good pro.
This exactly. If the pistons get MCW it'll just be another year I don't watch them
As long as they don't draft a zeller or any other stretch center type, I will at least be reasonablely happy. I'd rather trade for a pick next year and go after wiggins.
A few things amaze me about this draft. First, the fact that Alex Len is a serious option to go #1 overall. This is about as big of a reach as I have ever seen since I've been following the draft. The guy has potential, but he has done next to nothing to back it up. It seems like in the weeks leading up to the draft, the scouts fall in love with the big men. Have never understood how these guys shoot so far up even though they end up being busts so often. Steven Adams (Pitt) is a perfect example. Len certainly looks like a better prospect than Adams, but jees, did anybody see an NBA talent when Michigan played against Adams earlier this year? I sure didn't. He could use a few seasons to get ready.
For Michigan, I think Burke goes to New Orleans at #6. I will be amazed if he goes beyond the Pistons. Not only do Orlando and New Orleans have a need for a point guard in the top five, but Sacramento and Detroit could also be legitimate landing spots. Hardaway is a hard one to predict, but Chicago and Cleveland could be legitimate landing spots as well.
For the Pistons, my dream selections would be one of the wings (McLemore, Porter, Oladipo) in the 1st round and CJ Leslie in the 2nd round. My guess is that all three of those wings will be gone, which makes Leslie an even better pick. He is really versatile and could definitely play the 3 if necessary. It's something the Pistons clearly need and he would fill that spot. Just please stay away from Adams and Bennett.

NO pick 6th not 5th
Whoops must have been a typo. Sorry about that
Yeah that was my mock draft, this draft is a pure crapshoot. Again Magic are idiots if don't take Burke, they need a pure PG bad
My guess is Spurs take Jamaal Franklin and turns into a beast
Same thing I'm thinking. And sad to say, it wouldn't surprise me if the Pistons took him
Wow Bennett. I think that is a trade happening
LOL I WAS HOPING WE'D TAKE HIM AT 8
He has great upside, but IMO think this is a Blazer pick
Should've went with Otto Porter.
There really aren't many "can't miss" prospects in this class. I think Bennett will fit well with the pieces in Cleveland. I think it's a good pick
I don't think the Pistons could mess this pick up if they tried. One of Noel, Len, McLemore, or Burke is going to left when they pick.
Welp, there goes Zeller's NBA career.
Like he was ever going to have one.
I hope Noel isn't available when we pick. Do not want on the Pistons!!
Haha true true.
Zero reason they have two studs in Drummond Monroe
Noel + The Brow???
There is literally no way the Pistons can mess this up. McLemore/Burke will be on the board.
Just didn't want joe D to screw it up
Joe D better not eff up.
