You wish they'd also fix their player progression thing so that the results would be more consistent. According to ^^ link, there are only 6 players in the country worthy of 97 or better, and only one 99. Just went through my dynasty roster and I have 11 players on the team at 97 or better, none of whom were created or edited in any way, including 5 at 99. Seems silly.
It's a double-edged sword - for as many people as there are out there who like more realistic progression, there's an equal number who just want an all-world team as fast as possible.
I remember when Madden and NCAA actually had career-ending injuries...now they just cater to the casual player who wants to get all the 5-stars and win 10-straight NCs. Until the recruiting, player development, and coaching systems all get a major overhaul to be made considerably more in-depth (which they never will), we'll be stuck with this unrealistic aspect of player rankings.
Well, really, the problem stems from the fact that Heisman difficulty just isn't difficult enough...if there really was a team that had 11 consecutive NCs, won every game by 50-100 points, consistently put 20+ guys on the All-America teams, won piles of Heisman trophies, etc, that team probably would get just about any recruit it wanted. So, really, they're just going to have to come up with an AI that can stand up to human opposition without resorting to blatantly cheating (which some games do, and its incredibly frustrating and makes you want to not play anymore). But I guess that's a task that's either not possible, or not worth the investment it would take to achieve.
Here is about a 10 minute video of the gameplay. Looks freaking awful if you ask me. Not to mention the fact they made Gallon look fat as hell.
Off-camera footage taking by MadScientist06 at the 2013 E3 in LA. Four part video showing the different camera angles in NCAA Football (Zoom, Wide, Coordinat...
Yeah gallon looks fat for real... wtf. Whoever was playing looked pretty awful to me...
I’m not sure if he’s trolling or not but someone on OS posted that Ben Haumiller, said the Revo Speed two bar will not be in the game this year.
I think this could be it but I’m not sure. Some people were saying that it’s the robot.

just figured it out. they are having network issues getting it on xbox live.
I'm almost more frustrated by some of the little and seemingly obvious improvements they've failed to make outside of a lack of gameplay improvements.
I find the 70 player roster limit infuriating, something that almost single-handedly makes the coaching aspect of the game feel too unrealistic to enjoy. There should at MINIMUM be a way to maintain a roster of 85 for the user controlled team. If they want to argue about not having enough space to do larger rosters, then put 70 on each team to start and allow users to fill the roster with created players or full recruiting classes in dynasty mode. Players that think this gives them an unfair advantage over the CPU are free to self-impose a limit of 70, and you can't tell me there's not enough memory to allow ONE team 85 players. And if you really wanna make it realistic, keep in mind that 85 is a scholarship limit, not a roster limit. Most teams have well over 100 players when walk-ons are included.
I could list all sorts of recruiting quirks that don't line up to real life, to the point it's not even worth going in to.
Another one that really bugs me is the lack of FCS teams. Most FBS teams play at least one. How can this game be realistic when we can't even use our favorite team's actual schedule because some of the teams don't exist on the game? Again, the argument about lack of memory comes up. Here's a question though - These systems themselves connect to the internet and have tons of memory. Is there no way to upload all kinds of teams to the web and allow users to download them to their gaming system? Seems like an obvious fix, so either I'm missing something or the developers simply think this isn't a big deal.
Plenty more I could add, but these things are enough to keep me disappointed year after year.
What's suga Shane's rating? THP/THA!
Don't know. In the demo they have rawls at starting running back. They have also have two wrs that aren't even on the team anymore...
+1 Ok thanks- wasn't sure if they had full rosters for the demo teams. Been awhile.
Well it doesn't let you look at the roster. As far as I could tell they also had beyer and heitzman starting with black and qwash. Lbers looked like ryan/ross/?desmond. I noticed they had countess but had him as a JR instead of a RS SO. Dymonte was also def out there as was cam gordon.
They has wilson/thomas at safety.
Oline was too tough to tell who was who.
i take the WR part back.
I think they have Reynolds and Jackson as the other WRs after Gallon. i know i got Darboh a catch but he must be WR#4 or #5. dileo?
I just went to download the demo- I forgot the ole lady bodyslammed my Xbox few months back! doesn't wanna work anymore. If ncaa14 is good- ill get another Xbox . From what I've read on OS- it's good. what's some of u dudes opinion's ? I'm just a casual player.
playing the demo i feel like its okay. if you want to play college football i would get it. i am going to get it because the last game i bought is now 2 years old. some of the things i wish they would fix/update/improve i doubt they have. its hard to tell from the demo tho.
in the demo it shows "whats new". the recruiting actually looks very interesting. i cant wait to try it out.
