bad. Do they have some players suspended for the UAB game that I'm unaware of? Midway through the 2nd quarter and they are lucky to only be down 6 right now.
For all the talk about how no matter how good our O-line gets, they'll just plow through it, I'd like to see them do it against some UAB talent first.
In other news, Wisconsin is looking stellar as well down 6-2.

I heard that their all of their defensive lineman are good enough to play any position, but that might just be a rumor.
If that's the case, they may want to consider trying those gentlemen at some of those other positions. Playing the D-line isn't going to pay their bills.
This is so intimidating.. Their defense is doing an AWESOME job stopping UAB..
And Long's field goal is looonnnnng enough
Perfect name for a kicker.
Awesome. They are going to roll the B1G this year! Fickell should be the head coach! Oh wait....
They're only playing 6 in the box against this spread O of UAB. They aren't very good at tackling, but I'm curious how they'll play against a power Offense like Sparty next week (Although "power" is being a little generous, I suppose).
MSU - OSU is always my least favorite game of the year. Never sure who to root for. I think I'll have to root for OSU though
Root for dysentery.
You are a better man than I am. I'll be rooting for OSU to lose even though it's not in Michigan's interest in any way. I've gone into those games rooting for OSU to beat State, but always end up pulling for a Buckeye loss by the end...just can't do it.
Unfortunately I will be too ducks
Can someone with more football knowledge than me tell me whether these chop blocks are really happening this often? Never seen it called so often.
You gotta root for OSU. MSU is in our division. The more losses they have, the better it is for us.
The refs are enforcing it to the letter of the law.
You can't chop a guy from the side if he is ENGAGED with another linemen. I would not characterize the last two penalties as "engaged". The one OL literally had his arm stuck out, looking for someone to block when the other OL chops the Dlineman.
I think the last 2 calls have been garbage.
Thanks for the explanation.
It'd make it a lot easier to root for OSU next week if they lose today
BWHAHA that OSU CB got called for taunting on a 3rd and long.
time of possession
...and uab has ball
Are Noah Spence, Adolphus Washington, and Tommy Schutt players on Ohio's DLine rotation?
Or are they redshirting?
* * * N E O . R E T R O * * *
Thanks for the good read.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
None of their DL freshmen are redshirting.

Braxton can't throw, defense can't tackle, and their special teams is atrocious....smells like Victory in the 'Shoe'. They have looked absolutely untimidating by all definitions of the word. I see them losing 4 games this year...I can't believe they haven't lost one already
"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
What 4 games? The Big Ten is bad this year. I don't think MSU can score enough to beat OSU. Wisconsin might not be able to score enough either. Penn State sucks. Iowa sucks. Purdue migth be able to beat them. Michigan has a shot.
Braxton is really inconsistent right now but he is good to make some plays and put some points on the board every game.
They lost to Cal at home in my book, anyone who watched that game would probably agree. Their only offense appears to be Miller's legs and the defense is bending and almost breaking against terrible competition (all home games too). MSU is bad but I still don't see Ohio beating them.
