Haven't heard that he was there. Hasn't been mentioned as being one of the visitors. Maybe he changed his mind and kept his commit to UM?
You guys heard anything?
We've been waiting to see if your guys have a visit reaction from him, but haven't heard anything. He's still committed to UM, so my guess is he didn't end up going.
I take that back. 11Warriors is saying Conley was there. He probably won't be a commit much longer if true.

It's also the first mention on the MGoBlog Monday Recruiting segment.
Yeah I saw that right after making the first post
Conley has been in touch with our coaches throughout. And he has not been shy about discussing the situation. If the coaches pulled his offer, we should know soon. The coaches can't talk about it but Conley can. It will very likely come up the next time he speaks with one of the recruiting sites.
Conley was there but another message board is saying that he left earlier than expected and didn't have much interaction with the other recruits who were in attendance.
That seems odd...why go and possibly burn the bridge with Brady and then not hang out for the full experience.
If he decided to stay with UM, i hope Brady still takes him. Hate to see him get left out if that's where he really wants to be, sometimes you don't know until you actually visit somewhere else.....
Since he's been straightforward and honest with Hoke the entire time, I think there's a good chance we still recruit him. We won't consider him a commit, but I hope/think we still recruit him. It's not the same as Dawson or Pharaoh Brown at all.
It appears as though both UM & OSU are playing second fiddle to Oregon. If the Quacks finally offer (Kelly told him last week that they don't have room for him at the moment), he's going to Eugene.
I think Conley would go to Oregon if they would offer.
Man, I feel like Michigan recruited Brown after the visit. I will look that up to confirm.
Agreed. If Oregon offers, I get the feeling that he will commit almost instantaneously. Between Michigan and OSU...still feel good. Whether we would take him, I hope so. I think there is a difference between him being upfront, not a commit but a recruit, and others who were more dishonest.
This mentions Mattison visiting his school, but isn't sure if Brown could commit if he wanted.
There are a ton of "what I am hearing" articles from a writer that I don't give much credit to.
That's my sense too.
We would still take him.
No, I don't think so.
How long do we wait though? Let's assume for argument's sake that he took his visit and the coaches no longer consider him a commit, but are still recruiting him. How long do we wait before offering someone else his spot? Also, should we accept his recommitment knowing that we could lose him to Oregon at the drop of a hat?
I know Oregon is the "flashy" school right now, but these kids have to realize if Kelly gets a chance to go "big time" he's gone. Whether that is to the NFL or to a big $ offer out of the SEC.
A Massillon, OH kid in Oregon just doesn't fit with me. And the Rain, good God the RAIN. I know it isn't clear skies in OH or MI all the time, but that Pacific NW is not weather paradise, momma won't be liking it. Well, she may get a "job" at Nike or something though.
I thought momma was already there. Or was it somewhere else on the West coast?
His mom in on the West coast...she wants him to go to Oregon.
I think we still take him, and I don't think his decision really immediately effects our other recruits.
Wasn't there recent talk of another potential OH DB offer? Forgot his name....something like Hytchye? I seem to remember that people thought he would be one to get an offer if Conley decommitted.
Hytchye is a possibility. Mike McCray's teammate Reon Dawson is more likely.
not saying this happened, but what if a recruit wanted to go to a game on his own volition without the visit being an official or unofficial just to check out some football because they love the sport and competition? Would that still be a "visit"?
i'd imagine if they had no contact with coaches, bought a ticket, sat in stands, I can't see how any coach could drop them for that. But who knows..
My understanding was he was with the other recruits? I could be wrong.
As for Hytchye , the coaches really did like him. Haven't heard much about Dawson recently. Couple Michigan guys could be on the radar as well, but the longer this goes, I wonder if this will be a last minute offer type of deal.
