A joke ranking especially having him as 17th best in the state
Mone is one of the rare can't miss prospects IMO. It's hard to pin guys as can't miss because you never know, but given his size, talent and intangibles, he is going to be unbelievable here. He might end up having the largest upside/potential in our class, regardless of where the rankings slot him.
Who is ranking here? Ferns a 90? Hmmm .....

Did 247 just turn over all its ranking power to Bill Kurelic or something? Damn.
I agree. I think he's a high floor/high ceiling guy, too, since he already uses his hands well and has good technique. If he hits the camp circuit, I wouldn't be surprised to see him jump even higher in the rankings. He seems low-key though, so I don't know if that will happen.
It was probably that Mark porter guy and Duane long or whoever is his sidekick. Don't those guys do the Top 50 in Ohio every year?
Definitely. Similar to Gedeon last year, he will stay quiet for most of the cycle and by the time NSD rolls around we'll be pleasantly surprised to remember he's in our 2014 class. Especially because I think a lot of people will overlook him if we get a commitment from Hand or McDowell. Or both.
I wonder if the 247 staff looked at some of Fern's footage from his team's playoff run. If I remember correctly he had an injury to his ACL that slowed him down quite a bit. Of course that would be dumb imo, but I'm not the one in charge of these things.
I'm told Ferns will be a 92 overall grade. The rankings have been messing up on us all day.
I know Steve and Mark had constant praise for Gedeon when they were running Tremendous. I believe he was their favorite 2013 commit.
You da best, Clint.
You da man fursty. I love all ya'll (no homo). lol
I'd put Ferns in the 94-95 range, he is one of the best players in the state of Ohio.
Great news on Mone though, will be one of the most over looked players in this class, but he is a talent. Hoping McDowell and Hand help Mone wreak havoc in the backfield in the upcoming years.
Thanks for that.
I still don't get how someone that good is that overlooked
