Obviously, the goal of every season is to go undefeated and win the national title. As a fan, what would Michigan's 2012 record need to be for you to be satisfied?
9-3, win the division, make a CCG appearance. That is what I expect worse case this year.
10-2. Realistically we can go 11-1 just a tough road schedule this year. Also would be happy with 1-11 as long as we beat Ohio by 100.
My disappointment threshholds:
Worse than 8-4 in the regular season.
Worse than 6-2 in the Big Ten.
Only winning one of MSU, OSU, ND, and Alabama.
I expect an 8-4 season. I would be ok with that, but of course I am hoping for more.
10 and 3 with a Rose Bowl appearance and Big 10 champs.
Win against Ohio and Michigan state, win the division, win the big then championship game and make an appearance in the rose bowl. It doesn't matter to be what our record Is as long as we get that done.

At least 9 wins for me with wins over at least 2/3 of OSU, ND, and MSU.
At least 9-3 and the legends division title.
Figure 8-4 and up I'd be content
It's a nasty schedule.
No more than 3 losses and no more than 1 loss in the Big10.
Realistically I see us 9-3 losing to Alabame and splitting the games against msu, neb, osu, and nd. I would be satisfied at 8-4 and downright pleased with a 10-2 mark. All 3 scenarios are possible with 9-3 being the most likely.
I expect 12-0 and will be happy with 11-1. Michigan fergodsakes.

"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
I predict 10-2 but I would be ok with 8-4.
With the schedule, I'd be happy with 8-4.
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
11-1 but will settle for 10-2 loss to Neb and OOC
We shouldn't lose all four away games. Anything worse than 9-3 would be a disappointment for me. I think we lose to Bama and at ND and go 10-2.
If you had to lose one................
Would you rather beat Alabama or Ohio State????
Ohio State without a doubt.
I don't know about you guys, but I'd be dissappointed with anything under 10-2 this season. It's doesn't matter how hard the schedule is. Now if we beat both MSU and Ohio I will be ok with 8-4.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
I think 10-2 is very doable but I am giving Hoke a pass this year. He is only going into year 2 and still doesn't have his players and system in place yet.
I say 11 and 1 our offense is going to impress everybody this year. You'll see
It's not about record for me, its about who we beat. I want to beat OSU and MSU.
And I want our team play Alabama tough. If we beat Bama, all the better, but I'll be happy with a close game that doesn't get away from us.
9-3/8-4 would be acceptable this season.
What it looks like to me:
Alabama - L
Air Force - W
UMass - W
@ Notre Dame - Tossup
@ Purdue - W
Illinois - W
Michigan State - Tossup
@ Nebraska - Tossup
@ Minnesota - W
Northwestern - W
Iowa - W
@ Ohio State - Tossup
Say 2-2 in the tossups. 9-3, anywhere from 7-1 to 5-3 in conference.
