Hopefully tonight is the start of a great tourney run that ends in a championship.
Leaving for the Palace right now.
I'm at Hoops and there is a ton of SDSU fans here. They're like........rabbits.
Alon with a bunch of Sparty fans.
The Rabbits are boarding their bus. So long Rabbits.
My wife posing with one of the many signs on the tables at Hoops.
You know the Palace will be Michigan fans against all other teams. SDSU, sparty, VCU...
I just had a nice conversation with the wife of the president of SDSU. A lovely lady who probably had a few too many.
Mitch McGary has been announced as the start tonight with Jordan Morgan coming off the bench.

Wow. Kind of shocked by this. Is this based purely on performance or is Jordan having issues with his ankle again?
Have to keep the game from staying close in the second half. The crowd will root against us, they will play loose and the underdog gets the lions share of calls. Look what's happening to Gonzaga now. Olynek ain't had this many fouls called on him all season. Have to put them away or it becomes a nail biter
18 minutes till tip off... !
More of a performance based thing. If you remember, he was making a TON of mistakes on defense in the last couple games and seemed incapable of holding onto the ball when he got a pass inside. McGary on the other hand had some big games. If Morgan plays good defense again, I'm sure he will get some solid playing time.
I agree somewhat with this point, but I think the crowd will be pretty heavy Michigan tonight. Yes, there's been coverage on MSU fans coming, but they are actually in 2 separate sessions. This means that most of the MSU fans will already be out of the building when Michigan hits the court. I expect some heavy "go blues" from the court tonight.
Yeah i remember how bad Morgan has been. Just didn't see Coach B going this route in the tourney seeing as Morgan gives us some experience at least. That is why i was wondering if his ankle was bothering him.
Makes sense. At least it's a sign that Beilein and Michigan are taking this game very seriously. They are going to put whoever they think are playing best on the floor.
Also another note on tonight's game. Matt Vogrich is ill and will remain in the hotel.
I like the energy McGary gives us off the bench but Morgan has played terrible the last few games that not giving him the start may be for the best. Hopefully this lights a fire under his ass and he brings the same energy that McGary does off the bench.
Gotta make the bunnies!!
Whoever made the point a couple days ago that McGary needs to finish strong and just dunk at the rim instead of laying it up so much was 100% dead on
...and just like that...
Good call Coach B in starting McGary
McGary came to play.
