Isn't that what I said? But if you are objective, prior to that there were 2-3 very questionable charging calls on MSU. It evened out pretty well. It's a shame the officials need to have make up calls to account for their lack of ability.
Turnovers and Burke.
Any complaints about the refs during football on this board don't even come close to matching the constant bitching about the refs that one sees on tRCMB. Seriously, it's not even close.
The refs shouldn't even be in discussion. One would think when a team has two opportunities to take the game winning shot within the last 30 seconds, it would be advantageous to at least attempt a shot.
Not surprisingly, Sparty is whining like never before about the reffing.
Good. Makes my Monday that much more pleasant.
DUDE!!!!! That's a great picture in your signature. I'm going to borrow that, if it's ok with you.
Just want to add, there are a huge number of posters on RCMB that makes it seem worse than it is. I doubt that any single fanbase bitches about the refs more than any other. Also this past season had a few very memorable calls that directly affected the outcomes of games. It happens to every team but we got a few seasons worth, it will even out in the long run. For an example of how those calls made late in games leads to extreme analysis I would like to reference the Sea/GB NFL game.
The refs sucked yesterday in general. MSU lost because with a chance for the last shot and OT being worst case scenario, Burke tore Appling a new one. Thats a play that should literally happen 0% of the time and Burke made it look easy. That's why he's a top 10 pick and Appling won't snif a NBA gig without some serious work next year.
By all means
