LTT just tweeted that he will be trying to enroll early as well.... That may be the biggest one since he has a ton of upside and the coaches will get 6 extra months to work on his game and body... Hope this one is true
We also might be super desperate for tackles next year if Lewan leaves early.
Huge that we have some guys on the DL and OL EE next year, because they will have to see some time.
If Lewan leaves early, my guess would be Schofield swapping sides... He has been doing both this spring and they are trying to make him Mr Versatility on the OL... Magnusson looks like he needs a good 20lbs as well
Ok, to help clarify the scholarship deal with EEs, I'll take a stab at it. The concrete number is 85. At no time can a team be over that after a certain date, which I don't recall at this time, but the 85 is the important thing to remember.
With EEs, they are obviously allowed to join during January and participate during Spring Ball. The question remains is how many? I don't think there is a limit, it just depends on which class they belong to. An EE can be counted towards the previous class, as long as the class size is less than 25. If not, they would be counted towards the current class.
You can only count 3 EEs to the previous class, but you can have a lot of them per class. I know in 2010 we had seven and in 2009 we had eight.
So far, looks like we have: LTT, Dawson, Taco, maybe Butt, Ty Isaac if he comes.
IIRC the number is 8 for EE's.
