He's Jordan Jefferson 2.0. Just faster. There'll be 100 better throwing quarterbacks in the stands Sat night.
Bama fan here. First off, I can't tell you how jacked I am for this game on Saturday. Two of the most historic teams in CFB history on the field at JerryWorld, all eyes on us. Huge for both of our recruiting. The atmosphere will be amazing. Big respect to Michigan. I was there for the 1999 Orange Bowl game featuring Shaun Alexander and Tom Brady. I remember Brady lighting us up that game. It was probably the best quarterback performance vs Alabama in 20 years. Awesome game, hate how it ended.
We have some of the greatest fans in the world, but we also have a ton of uneducated homer fans too. The ones predicting a Michigan blowout and the death of Denard Robinson also think a) USC sucks this year and b) Alabama's team can beat the 2012 New York Jets....I'm dead serious. I apologize for those types of Alabama fans. Unfortunately, every school has them. Most of you guys traveling to the game will find out that the majority of Alabama fans treat other fans with a great deal of respect....we realize how great of an opportunity this is.
Now, an opinion on the game from a un-biased Alabama fan:
I'm predicting that Alabama will lose one game this year, two at the very most. The games that scare me are LSU, Arkansas, Missouri (trap game) and Michigan. You guys are coming off an 11-2 season with DR coming back. That's huge! I do believe that Denard Robinson will give us fits for the first half. I think we'll be punched in the face early, and we'll have to adjust quickly. Running the ball could be tough in the beginning vs your D-Line. Won't be surprised if Michigan leads at half time and ultimately upsets Alabama. I see Alabama winning, but not even close to a blowout.
A few notesa:
1. Alabama shut Cam Newton down in 2010. If Saban successfully shut down Newton, then he shouldn't struggle with DR
2. Nick Saban has had all summer to prepare for one game. Last time he had more than a week to develop a plan, LSU-BCS Championship.
3. Weakness: Special Teams. If it comes down to special teams, we're toast.
4. Weakness/Maybe: Newcomers on Defense. Sunseri and HaHa. People see them as a weakness, but HaHa was a 5* and Sunseri is already a celebrity at Alabama for his hard hits, smarts and crazy work ethic. Still, they are young, and facing DR in their first starts of their CFB career. It's one thing to be a freak of physical nature, but if you're out of position, especially in this game, it won't matter how hard you hit.
5. TJ Yeldon -- Freshman. This kid is a big mystery to most, but the team is expecting a HUGE season from this kid. He's behind Lacy right now, but everyone close to the program swears that he'll be the featured running back by the end of the year. Lacy will be great, and it will be fun to see him bring the old-school "spin move" back from the grave, but big things are expected of Yeldon. He could be a huge factor or huge flop. This is what I'm looking forward to the most.
Prediction: Alabama wins, but doesn't beat the spread. I'm seeing a 7-10 point win. A great game that will NOT hurt Michigan's status and might not even drop Michigan out of the top 10. Michigan wins the conference championship. Most importantly, Denard Robinson won't die.
Good luck guys!!
Calm down, man. I think y'all can win the B1G. That's pretty cool. I guess.
Just having some fun guys. Truly do hope everyone on both sides comes out healthy. This one's big for both sides.
Alright, I can no longer take you seriously or respect your opinion. One of the dumbest and homer statements I've seen made.
Thank you for an unbiased viewpoint!
Lol, look at this guy.
I love the backhanded compliments. I'll give it a try.
You've figured out how to type a sentence. That's pretty cool. I guess.
Did he actually say they shut down Cam Newton in 2010? I remember Cam going all Superman on them and bringing Auburn back from a 24-0 deficit to win 28-27. They embarrassed the Tide in Tuscaloosa no less. If that's what they mean when they say they are going to shut down D-Rob, well, I can live with that. We shouldn't need more than 28 points to win this game with our defense.

Try not to take too much of what an "unbiased" Bama fan ... who goes by "tarheel" ... seriously.
Special teams a weakness? Where? Christion Jones filled in for Maze in the BCSCG game and there was zero drop off. Shelley made 5 FGs. With the new KO rules, every Bama opponent will start at the 20. That means to score, you have to consistently drive or go 80. Not going to happen very often.
Special teams is more of a strength than a weakness, brother. Remember, only Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix and Deion Belue are true newcomers. EVERYONE ELSE has significant playing time on a national championship team at the highest level of competition.
Did I mention 4 of 5 starters on the OL will be drafted, three in the 1st rd?
Thar be trolls amongst ye.
phillipians 4:13 CAN-DO all things through Christ which strengthens me.
Not a homer statement at all. If y'all were playing anyone else, I'd say the same thing. 16 plays QB for y'all BC YOU DON'T HAVE A REAL ONE.
DRob would be a corner or a RB down here. Now THAT is a homer statement.
Cool, Michigan had a ton of NFL talent on its roster when it played Appalachian State and Oregon, they still lost in both games.
You can have all the talent you want, it's all about preparation and execution.
I can't wait for Michigan to stomp your team and egos.
On this, we agree. Blocking, tackling, finishing. Same things win that always win. Only things that change are the excuses when we lose. Wise man said that.
To even mention Jordan Jefferson in the same sentence as Denard is laughable. I think you might have gone a little too far on that one.
Thar be un-edeekated trolls amongst ye.
You guys get mad when someone calls out DRob. Poor man's Kordell Stewart.

Faster version. Throws it the same. Difference is he was surrounded by a pound-your-ass run game with four very good backs, which y'all most certainly do not have.
Damn ... I bet the Kordell Stewart thing REALLY touched a nerve.
You can wish in one hand and sh!t in the other. You can do more with the sh!t.
Denard is the most dynamic player in CFB and you are going to compare him to JJ. I like you but you are losing your credibility when you throw out statements like that.
You can go to Bama or get your GED. You can do more with the GED!
JJ quarterbacked his team to an undefeated season, the SEC championship and played pretty well along the way. PLEASE stop acting like DRob has ever won anything that matters.
No more then Cam's to you. That is probably a fresher wound right?
After this game, the new mantra is going to be B10 Speed.
There ya go! Pompous "we are more educated than you" jab. To your credit, it came out far later than I thought it would.
