With the recent injury of Jordan Morgan, a spot has opened up in the starting lineup for at least the game against Northwestern. So that begs the question. Who fills the role? Odds have to be strong for McGary to get the nod, but Horford played well on Sunday and showed he can bring a defensive presence that McGary hasn't quite developed yet. Personally, I think McGary will get the nod early, but minutes will be pretty split. McGary has been improving consistently and can do some real damage on the offensive side, especially against a Northwestern team that struggles against the post game.
What's everybody's thoughts?
Michigan takes the court tonight against Northwestern and looks to show why theyre the top team in the country.

IMO, I'd start whoever the better defender is and bring the better offensive player off the bench for a spark if needed.

I think McGary will start and play the most minutes he's played in his career.
Horford started the second half against illinois and I think we will see him get the start tonight against Northwestern. Coach B loves having an energy spark off the bench like McGary.
I see Horford starting with McGary coming off of the bench.
