Yeah, it would be an an outstanding haul.
Per Tremendous, a current commit said Hurst will commit on his visit in a few weeks. Would be a great pick-up, although I'm skeptical of what the commits say about other recruits.
Agree.. a lot of kids don't like to say "no" to other recruits/commits/friends. Sometimes it is legit, but we've seen enough examples to know nothing is 100%.
Sounds like he's committing in a couple weeks.

If I recall correctly, I read somewhere that Hurst was close to committing to OSU at one point.
Urbz pulled the offer.
The UM staff is really insistent on getting that big RB, aren't they?
Seriously now, Hurst does have a good offer list, but (believe it or not, if you will), the inn has been closed on him at a few schools. PSU may still be recruiting him, but I think we're not taking anymore DT's with Webb on board, and (as much as I hate to say it), I do think OSU was waiting on the other DL commits over Hurst. Still a good prospect. And frankly, I love taking a prospect that other schools turned away and watching the coaches turn him into a stud.
I want Josh Augusta to play for Michigan. He just has way too much potential for us to not take him.
If the Michigan coaches can develop him up and he has the work ethic to push himself to be great, then I just don't see how he's anything less than a NFL Draft 2nd round talent.

I understand why both PSU and OSU have some what put him on hold...but still would have expected him to have a longer offer sheet. Doesn't really matter, our coaches like him, so good enough for me.
Yep, nothing wrong with that. Even without having coached a game, I'm learning to trust the PSU coaches in their evaluations of recruits and I'm sure you've become the same way with Hoke and co.
The NT we need in this class? Yes please.
I like everything I've seen about this kid, and love that academics are a true factor in his recruitment. Go Blue Maurice! I want/(can't wait?!) to see what Hoke and Mattison will do with his athleticism.
At the same time the coaches waited to offer him. He is probably a backup plan after they missed out on recruits or decided they didn't like their chances with others. So glad the coaches like him but they probably wish they hadn't missed out on their first choices.
BS! Ohio had him on the top and was hoping for a commit during his last visit (11warriors).
I like this kid. With our DL coaching this kid could be really good at Michigan.
I can see him being like Pipkins a little....hes a very solid recruit in his junior year, then just blows up and really turns some heads his senior year
His 11w interview basically said that OSU told him they would probably taking 1 more tackle in this class. He went on to say that he isnt sure where he stands and he knows we have a numbers crunch and may switch to focusing on offensive players. He wasnt quite sure where he stood, but hoped to learn more when our coaches visit his school....with that said I really like the kid, and if he goes to UM itll be our loss and your gain. He recently tweeted that he was doing a school project on the OSU vs Michigan rivalry...I cant imagine him not wanting to be a part of it after actually studying it...I think we are banking on Hill or possibly Munger...we shall see, this may come back to bite us in the future.
My point is it is irrelevant. Clearly, he wasn't our #1 choice. But that doesn't mean he isn't an excellent player. Coaches have to make decisions in order to lure the best candidates available. That usually does not work, and they go on to plan B. Hurst may be plan B, but he is an excellent fall back position.
Hard to imagine recruits being plan B, in May... I understand that they may rank kids higher than others, but to consider somebody plan B this early on is kinda odd, no?
