Wisconsin figured out what life is like playing against someone when the refs actually blow the whistle against them. They couldn't throw a rock in the ocean either. NC State is getting throttled by Temple right now at the half. That's a team I thought would be much better by this time of the year (NC St).
NC St. has a coach that can recruit, but can't coach for . Much like Scott Drew.

Nc St starting to go on a run. They are good in transition.

Which requires no coaching.
That was such a ballsy play. Henderson has so much swag it's ridiculous.
Actually, transition offense does require coaching but it is undoubtedly simpler than half-court offense.
George Karl - a former player under Dean Smith - runs a system that relies heavily on transition offense which is a key feature of the Carolina system.

Spread the floor and attack the rim. Go watch Memphis basketball where they have athletes and not basketball players. When they are in the open court and get the pace fast they are pretty hard to beat. When they play half-court basketball they look like crap and that all stems back to high school basketball and coaches not instilling the fundamentals. Players learn transition basketball at an early age.
My initial point is that Mark Gottfried is a bad gameday coach.

Looks like today is going to be a lot crazier than the first, despite New Mexico going down. Wisconsin already goes down, NC State got taken down, and K State is on the ropes already.

Looks like 2nd year in a row a team that plays the 1st round will win pull an upset.
I've got KState in my EE
omg Cincy just blew a huge chance. Got a Flagrant-1 called on Creighton down 4 with 54 seconds to play, and missed both free throws. They hit a three on the ensuing possession so its not a complete disaster but they could be up 1 right now.
Yeah, K State, Nc State and Wisconsin has cost me already today.
Looks like all our big OOC scalps are one and done, Pitt, Kansas St, NC State..
Florida Gulf Coast can play. They are up 13 on GTown.
Has there ever been a player who has gotten more credit for doing nothing than Marshall Henderson?
Just took a look at the stat sheet; He took 142 (!!!) more 3's than anyone else in the SEC...shot only above 50% in two conference games, negative AST/TO ratio with no other real redeeming stat (bad rebounder, etc.). It's a shame the guy gets practically all the credit for what Ole Miss has done. He plays a part, it'd be dumb to deny it, but his personality and publicity has pushed the perception of a great player, which no. Just bugged me.
EDIT: Of any player in all of college basketball who has averaged more than 2.5 3's made per game, Henderson is sixth from LAST in shooting percentage (75 players).

The Kobe Bryant of college hoops
The last dunk and one handed lob was sick by them. These boys can play ball.
Georgetown is gone.
Got outplayed all game.
Who cares, he is fun to watch and the team goes as he does.
Just curious what "the team goes as he does" means.
