Does anybody have any insight on this kid? I see ohio has offered. I know it's very, very, very early for him. Some say MSU lean, some say Michigan lean. I know he was at the Addidas Combine and all the talk was he was bigger than everybody and he was a beast. Just looking for legitimate info. Hopefully he is Blue!!!
Will be our first 2014 commit, BKfinest it.
would be very surprised if this statement does not come true MSU lean lmfao
MSU also thought this guy was coming
I've heard from some reliable guys that he's likely going to end up at Michigan. I'm not sure where the MSU lean rumor came from, but it's baseless at this point. If he makes an early decision, it will be Michigan.
I'm hoping that he'll be something like Jadeveon Clowney or Robert Nkemdiche.

I've talked with Malik a few times, and I can guarantee he is not an MSU lean. Michigan is in VERY good position with him
Ok would I should have said is, even though it's not the most reliable info the Sparties on tRCMB think he is a MSU lean. I just wondered what others thought. I originally thought he was leaning our way. But I also read that he has visited E.L. Already and has two more visits lined up with them and has one with us. Just trying to get my facts straight! Go Blue!
Don't fret my friend, everything will be fine. Nothing to worry about.
RCMB is sooooo reliable...
Everything I have read is that he likes Michigan a lot.
This is all I need to hear.
Malik McDowell = UM
"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
If things go as planned, he could be blue at the Spring Game.

Are you speculating, or do you have a source for that?
I would say little bit of both. He really likes UM.
This. He's a huge lean and could drop early. It just depends on if his parents want him to look around more. If they don't, he could drop very soon.
The next in-state kid that Dantonio lands with an offer from Hoke (Burbridge doesn't count) will be the first, and McDowell won't be it.
"But-but-but he's visiting MSU TWICE and Michigan ONCE!" - RCMB mouthbreather
Keep getting your hopes up, Sparty.

Sparty fans are like a lost cowboy wandering the desert and dying of thirst. All these prospects they think they're in on are mirages....they can think what they want but they're not really there.
Thought he was a sparty lock.
Let us just say, many us would not be surprised if he commits sooner than later.
Lol. I chuckled at Sparty poster saying "welcome aboard, Mr. McDowell" - to be honest, I said "LMAO" - and got negbombed.
Wonder if they figured it out now...
Looks like a grown man at 16 years old... I would welcome his verbal commitment
Look closely at his shorts in this video...
Class of 2014 DE Malik McDowell from Detroit Loyola at the Elite Big Man Camp in Wixom, MI (Feb 12, 2012). Video shot and edited by Scout.com.
It looks like a yellow block M. It must me Mizzou
His parents aren't even allowing him to talk to recruiting coaches yet, so that'd be a mild surprise. But yeah, the feeling is he's chomping at the bit to go blue, just his parents and his HS coach want him to take his time and make a wise decision.
I sure hope you're right Duck!
, I mean literally, GO BLUE MALIK!
His dad wants him to wait till his junior year I guess.....Moon, what makes him such a lock in your opinion. I just take everything with a grain of salt, until I see some empirical, objective data to support the facts (wearing UM shorts or a hat is not such)
