I can already see where this thread is going.
because both of those guys really tore you up...
Posey: 3 receptions 58 yards
Herron: 15 carries 37 yards
East Lansing- A Drinking Town with a Football Problem
He fixes the cable?
Woolfolk didn't even start. Losing the other two was big, but we have a HC who won a national title as a DL coach, one of the best DCs in the country, and a very respected DL coach.
We are college football
That's why he compared common opponents

Not even close to what I said. MSU is a bigger rival than those games and probably more important, but would you really say that having MSU at home is harder than playing OSU, NU, and ND on the road?
There's no way that you can look at Michigan's Scoring D and ignore that they didn't play the two best offenses in the B1G while MSU did and played Wisconsin twice. People can talk about MSU playing a different OSU team, but Michigan played Minnesota without MarQuise Gray. That would have greatly affected the ability of Michigan to shut them out.
Is this linked to your board. Why is there all of a sudden 3 sparties on here?
Eastern was solid last year, great running team. Western almost beat pursue in a bowl game and I'm pretty sure san diego was a good football team,no? Those teams were much better. Arguing against it is rediculous.
I threw you guys a bone because I think you are great defenaicely, let's not throw stupidity around just to argue.
oh, okay. i just checked the roster and saw that he was a senior and is now in the NFL, i don't follow UM that closely. did i mention we have a HC who won a national title as a DC, one of the best up and coming DC in the country, and we return 8 players with all conference honors.
intelligent discussion based in facts and statistics instead of arbitrary high school rankings and "i just have this feeling" remarks?
That's how I see it, Bama and the away games are tougher.
I'm just waiting for the random Arkansas guy to show up.
Those are good points. I think state was better and will be slightly better this year. But its hard to compare teams with a what/if analysis.
Ok, this many sparty troglodyte's don't show up at once. Who linked this back to their cesspool of a site?
I'd say it's harder than NU and ND and easier than Ohio on the road.
I know. But I saw a good opportunity for self-deprecating humor.
It helps your overall defensive stats where we had to play 4 bowl eligable teams in OOC games and you guys got Indiana as well.
which is why i chose to compare common opponents because it gives us the most un-biased statistics to compare the two teams.
You guys played Indiana, FAU, CMU, and YSU
Yeah, I'm sure you'll provide relevant and interesting points that haven't been made ad nauseum. Go get 'em tiger.

Do you feel the same way about basketball recruits because you guys get giddy over Jabari Parker and Gary Harris and then criticize us for doing the same thing for football.
We're all just a little on edge after Walmart ran out of Denard Robinson bed sheets. Its been a tough week.
the difference is that there's no NFL GM that has come out and said that any one of your recruits would be a top 5 pick in the draft after his Junior year in HS like there was with Parker.
OK. MSU's Scoring Defense was 2nd in B1G games. UofM's was 4th despite not playing Wisconsin or being able to play themselves. Better? Illinois had a worse B1G offense than Indiana last year as well so that doesn't work.
