Go Blue & Gig Em'!
You dirty rat!
By the way, what smells in here?
This right here
bump to say that I've added another couple of columns to the sheet: one for visit dates as I learn them and another that lists twitter handles so those of you who want to follow recruits can easily find them all in one spot
Added a new column to the spreadsheet showing what All American game each recruit will be playing in.
Link so you don't have to go back to page 1: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Apd1J-h45u1gdDRjVE1SeVFZZmkwN0lUS3RibEFVVlE&usp=sharing
Updated to reflect the ESPN 150 and the updated 247 rankings. Also deleted the "Average" columns...I realized I'm not good enough at spreadsheets to program a way to make them do that automatically, and I figure we have the 247 composite anyhow.
Updated to reflect the complete ESPN star ratings/position rankings
Very cool. I had not seen this yet. Thanks for all of the effort.
I see that earlier in the thread, you were wondering about making it sortable. Have you tried using the "Filter" feature? If not and you want to check it out...
Select the entire first row, go to "Data" and click on "Filter". This will allow you to sort or filter the entire spreadsheet based on the values in any column you choose.
Unfortunately, Google Docs doesn't allow you to sort/filter by color, but an easy fix for this is to assign a letter (or number) to each color, add a column at the far left of the spreadsheet and enter the letter equivalent for the color you have assigned to each player. For example:
A = Blue: M commit
B = Light Blue: Favorite or Final Three
C = Green: Top 5
D = Yellow: Top Group
E = Orange: M Eliminated from Top Group
F = Red: Commit elsewhere
O = no color assigned; OPEN

We actually solved the sorting problem earlier itt. Go to view -->and click "list" and it will let you sort by any column, or limit the field to only the recruits that match a certain criteria, i.e., only DEs or only 4-stars on Rivals.
Oh yeah, I didn't see that. Although I think you might find the Filter solution to be a bit more elegant and intuitive for the user. But that's just the nerd in me. Thanks again for the work...
