Kruger to the Browns. Waiting for someone to throw big money at Avril next. At least we could get a comp pick instead of paying big money on a re-sign deal.
Trufant might have some consistency issues but Rhodes is much worse in that regard. I like Xavier Rhodes and he probably has the highest upside of any corner in this draft but among the consensus top 3 CB’s he’s the most inconsistent.
Poyer’s speed scares me, and he’s not really that versatile scheme wise either. If he stays at CB it’s going to have to be in a zone or off man system. I kind of like him a little better as a FS, but I question his ability to hold up in run support.
Trufant has a great combination of size, speed, and lateral quickness which is something the other two don’t have.
Wes Welker is such an idiot for not taking the money. No one is going give him what he wants. They should sign Amendola.
Lions are in a terrible position...they have no cap flexibility to get all the pieces they need, and drafting has become a lottery to them (and many other teams). I just see an average team for years to come unless they get rid of Lewand etc...
Houston resigned. Good, could not lose him imo.
The Lions picked up former Southfield Lathrup and EMU product Jason Jones. He should be a really good rotational guy at DT, which is a need because Corey Williams and SLH are gone. Hopefully they will pick up a project at DT in the mid rounds to replace SLH. I really like Montori Hughes from UT Martin.
The Detroit Lions love defensive tackles. Now theys also a homecoming of sorts for Jones.
Lions and Reggie Bush agree to a 4 year deal.
NFLN is reporting Reggie Bush is now a Lion. He signed a 4 year deal.
He finally realized to reach his full potential he needed to get out of cities that had stellar nightlife scenes (L.A., New Orleans, Miami...)
Will someone try to sell me on signing Reggie bush? I'm not sure signing Reggie Bush is a good or bad thing.
Hopefully this Bush isn't expensive.
is ability to catch the ball out of the backfield is going to make our offense even more lethal then it already was.
Now we gotta make a move on Goldson or Quinn and I'll be happy
Bush, Leshoure, and Bell in the backfield, pretty solid running game.
He’ll have the same effect on the offense that Jahvid did (when he was healthy).
Hell yea! Lions and Glover reached a deal.
now in the draft: DE, CB, OL
It will be interesting to see how they use Quinn. He was a NB and a Dime LB in the Texan sub packages.
Whats great about him is through his career he has been healthy!
I hope i don't jinks it
That’s a good thing as well. I still think they are going to draft another safety. With Quinn they will probably be playing a lot of 3 safety packages.
I hope we go Milliner if he's available. If not I'm pulling for us to take Fisher
Agree. CB OT DE LB S WR in that order imo. First 3 could go to best available at those positions tho. If u know what I mean
