Ugh! That's an awful time for Jefferson. Hell- I ran faster than that when I was in highschool. Being fast isn't everything tho. Work ethic is another story tho, as someone mentioned after your post here. That's scary when your own coaches throw you under the bus.
As for Trufant- I think he goes no later than end of the 1st. Think he'll be the #3 CB off the board, somewhere around 20-25. Hell- he could end up going before Rhodes.
Damn, Jefferson is already being drafted this year?
Seems like just a couple years ago Michigan was battling for his recruitment.
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
Something very confusing about this post. You ask why nobody would take him, but then admit to not reading posts, to know if anyone had mentioned him. Either way....
I'd take Mathieu if he were to fall to (what im hoping will be the Lions) compensatory pick at the end of the 4th Rd
Was thinking the same exact thing a couple weeks ago Joe. When I saw his name on combine lists. Seems like this coming year should be like his Jr. year or something.
I think he goes before Rhode’s and I still think he’s the best CB in this draft.
Bump FA starts today. I know everyone wants Andy Levrite but I would rather have Louis Vasquez. He's a year younger, he going to be cheaper, and he's played in a MBS his whole carrer including his time at Texas Tech.
Bush to lions today.
Arizona is all in for mendenhall
Looks like you guys going after a top S as well.
Laron landry hopefully
I'm hoping for D Goldson who is being linked to the Lions as one of 4 teams pursuing him.
See I personally think Rhodes will end up being the best corner in this whole draft. I would take Milliner, Rhodes, and Poyer before Trufant. Trufant played like a 1st round stud during Senior Bowl week, but played more like a 3rd rounder throughout the season if you go back and watch his tape. I never get fully sold on guys that do this up and down stuff.
Deangelo hall just signed
So now that we (may have?) DeAngelo Hall , no Milliner in the draft?
I'm still pulling for Houston to resign. I think Bentley would be a perfect nickle. Good draft to target safeties.
if he's there I think you take him. Need another corner. Could turn our biggest weakness into our biggest strength.
Sounds like a false report...
Dave Birkett @ davebirkett
Hall's agent just emailed to say the report is false. ... That doesn't mean it won't happen, but hasn't as of 4 p.m.

That was false I guess
Valenti says hall was awwwwful last year. Said he 67 percent in opponent catches on him
And tbrown on 113 times
Colts' owner Jim Irsay just tweeted they added some key players, pretty excited to see what he did.
Are you guys happy with the Lions signing Reggie Bush?
Looks like the Colts signed former Lion OT Gosder Cherilus, what do you guys think of him?
Cherilus is solid. There was a website where he was graded out to have had the best season out of all the RT's last year but I couldn't tell.
Hopefully the Lions stay away from Hall. Head case who doesn't play well into his contracts...just keep Houston and if you really want to make an upgrade go after Goldson or Quin.
Solid signing for you guys imo. I would have loved to keep him if the Lions had money.
Gosder was a first pick that was pretty bad every year except last season. A good pickup if he continues to play like he did last year, but there are some questions about his knees holding up. He was less effective later in the season because his knees were bothering him a bit, I heard. Good news is that he's missed very few games in his career so far.
edit. meant first round
