Smith is one of two top Midwest guys (without an existing strong in state or legacy tie) to show no interest in Michigan at all. Most at least visit. Often it's because kids aren't interested in or can't qualify for the academics. That's not the case here though. Apparently he's real proud of his academics...which is what turned him from a Ohio lock to a ND lean. The only explanation that has stuck is that he wont go to his brothers rival school.

I wonder how much landing Levenberry would help with Da'Shawn Hand in 2014. They're both from the same city in VA and know each other. To what extent they talk, I don't know.
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Shocked to see you biting your tongue.
Probably not much for him to say since nobody in the thread is strongly saying either way what they think will happen. Farrell is pretty much the only person out there really voicing one school, and even he has backed off a bit. FSU has the whole criminal forensics degree that EJ wants to get to go into law enforcement, which could be a big deal since his dad is in law enforcement as well. Michigan wowed him at the Spring Game with 400 former players coming back showing how much support there is and love for the program. Really could go either way.
