To the OSU fans, enough, this thread is not for you. Get off our board.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
So now the luck is around the seeds we play, ok fine let's debate that, I would say that is not luck, we earned our seed based on the fact we finished 2nd in the BIG and won the BIG tournament, that is the reward for a better season than your's, we get a higher seed, that is how it is set up, you reward the teams for what they do in the regular season.
Your also putting to much weight on seeding also, this is the tournament you still have to win the games, all these teams are good once you get to the sweet 16 and beyond!
yes, you are correct!
its not osu's fault the other seeds lost...
this is the ncaa tourney, much better to be lucky then good!
we are not good, we are lucky (but again i say, i will take luck every time)
Woohoo. Down goes that douche Crean and Indiana. Next is that sorry red cheeked punk that plays for Ohio.

As many here agree, you are undoubtedly an .
I talked about Ohio's *path* to the Final Four and not Ohio's seeding.
Your weak reading comprehension is a testament to Ohio edumacation.
Instead of playing 15, 7, 3, 1 to get to the Final Four, Ohio's path is 15, 10, 6, and 9.
That. Is. Lucky.
Only a homer would have trouble admitting that.
But since you brought up Ohio's #2 seed, let's revisit it.
Ohio undoubtedly got the weakest region. Your #3 seed was New Mexico. Your #1 seed was Gonzaga.
The strongest #2 seed should go with the weakest #1 seed just like the strongest #1 seed should get the weakest #2 seed.
Miami was the strongest #2 seed because Miami won both its conference regular season and its conference tournament.
I don't want to hear about how the B1G was tougher than the ACC.
The B1G was tougher than the West Coast Conference as well but Gonzaga still got the benefit of a 1 seed.

Don't call out the good OSU posters. I enjoy a different perspective. The most posts I have on any board is an OSU one.
Butte, since when does "idiot" get censored on this board?
He clearly made an idiotic mistake.
He couldn't distinguish between path and seeding.
He got called out for it.
I think the strongest 2 seed (Miami) DID go to the weakest 1 seed (Indiana)... Just because I hate Crean...
I think the "Committee" over hyped the MWC and Gonzaga. I don't disagree that Zaga and New Mexico were overrated, but for some reason the committee thought they were very VERY good...I didn't see it, as I loved our region from the jump.
I honestly thought Arizona was the best team west of Kansas. They were the team I was worried about, and we snuck by them. So, unlike many of you, I'm hoping to be joined by some BIG teams in the EE...
It's a personal attack and we try to discourage that.
Your opinion is worthless because you allow emotion to cloud your judgement.
That you were excited by Ohio's bracket the moment you saw it on paper tells me all I need to know. If Ohio doesn't make it to the Final Four with that bracket, then Ohio will have failed miserably. And Ohio has already flirted with defeat twice.
ETA: And thanks for the response butte.

I said the committee thought a lot more of Zaga and New Mexico than they should have...how is that opinion differing from yours? I'm not stupid, obviously MSU's bracket with Duke and L'ville is much tougher. But we beat them twice and won the BIG tournament so we should have been in an easier bracket. Not our fault that the committee "loved" Zaga/NM.
If getting to the elite eight is failing miserably then I would like to fail every year miserably! If you told me OSU would make it this far this year in the tourney after losing Buford and Sully I would not have believed you, I don't think any of these team's have failed miserably once you reach the sweet 16, there is not much seperating any of these teams, there is so much parity in today's game that every game is a battle.
Rock Chalk Jayhawk.......KKKKKKKKKUUUUUUUUU!
Let the downvotes begin

kinda late to the party. I'll seeking you out after tonight with those tears.
Jimmy you need a nap.
Are you going to start another Michigan game thread on bucknuts?
Zona went 2-3 their last 5 games then beat Belmont and...Harvard in the tourny. Everytime I watched Zona live this year, they lost lol. And that team is OSU's toughest game to get to the FF. And its not like they were some hot team coming into the tourny. They have talent, but it takes more than talent. I'm okay with it thogh, OSU EARNED it and along the way got a couple breaks. That's sports!
See you later.
You guys have to win to shove it in Charles Barkley's face! Don't let me down blue.

Does the word dumb a$$ ring a bell... Jimmy ?
i agree 100%
i too enjoy getting my rivals perspective and post here quite often...
good luck tonight maizegoblue!!!!
I hope so too!
It means that Ohio always falls short of the Final Four and will have no banners to show for it. The schools that have reached a Final Four and/or won a National Championship only hang FF or NC banners.
Also keep this in mind: regardless of how far Ohio goes in the NCAAT, you don't succeed or fail. You are a fan. You are not part of the team.
