We like you, you're welcome to post here frequently. Just leave the other bucknuts (#scraps) behind. There's one other I like, I can't think of their name though.
I don't get the exuberance over the decommit, it's not like he flipped to UM. Kid could still end up there or with sparty
Exuberance is due to recruiting momentum. At this point, it seems unlikely he ends up back at OSU. He very well could, but how often do kids decommit from a school and end up back there? (excluding the SEC). Now OSU can't claim they're conquering the state of Michigan in recruiting, he can't help Webb and their staff recruit other players in the state, etc. Also, he happens to be a very good talent who our coaches want in this class quite badly.
As for OSU, Marshall decommitting--talent wise--for them is like Denzel Ward decommitting from us. While both are high-ceiling players who we'd love to have, our O-line is stacked, as is their D-line. We will both fill the spots with great prospects respectively. Only difference here is that Marshall was from the rival state, whereas Denzel is just tall.

ME! ME! Pick me!!! :)
They couldn't claim that before, people just overreacted on both sides (them and our fans panicking).
Nope not you. Still can't seem to pinpoint the second bucknut I generally respect.
Must've been a crazy dream of mine.
2 of the top 5 kids in the state with potential to snag one of the other three is pretty damn impressive. Even if Michigan got 3 of the top 5, that's something to be proud about. For our rival state to get them, that would be a disaster.
And yes, people were overreacting. But until NSD, overreacting is the nature of recruiting. Overreacting is recruiting.
Dam, I'll just have to work harder!
Completely different situation. I think you know that. If not I can explain, but I don't want to.
So who do we thing he's favoring now? Or is he wide open?
Elite44 is a good nut.
Probably Michigan. But as of yesterday he was heavily favoring OSU, so who really knows?
Elite44 is great, in the same mold as Devidee. But they don't post over here (unfortunately), so I don't count them.
No, his name reminds me of that ESPN employee who was incompetent and got fired for being racist towards his own race.
a2brutus is a pretty good poster.
That's him! Thanks elmn. Now I know who I like the most from the crop of who I hate the most.
He is a Michigan fan.
Go Blue and Go Titans!
Kid was just a "Who cares, there are alot better out there, he's not even ranked etc" 3 days ago and now everybody wants him on the wolverines?
You guys say that but can you provide any proof of anyone on this board saying that?
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
Can any of you bucknuts read? Nobody said we didn't want him. We were saying that losing a mid/low 4* rated in state kid was not the end of the world and wouldn't hurt Michigan all that bad because we figured we could land an equally good recruit. Marshall is a good player that any team should be happy to land but I don't view him as a 5* must get from your own state type of player.
I think the decision had more to do with Urban being a douche
Frankly, the Michigan fans on this board were kind of upset about the Marshall commitment. Check it out. The thread was locked because of all the trolling though.
Patiently waiting for our class to kick into gear. Dont like losing Marshall.
