Man, they already got off easy compared to USC, and they're still whining? Good lord.
Funny how this petition doesn't mention that Ohio had 375 NCAA violations in ten years under Tressel. Why can't they just admit they were wrong? All I hear from them is "it was just tattoos and memorabilia. It was no big deal." If it's no big deal then why would the NCAA force one of it's premier head coaches out of college football? Look at Mike Leach. That guy was accused of locking a player in a shed during practice and he's still coaching yet Tressel isn't. I guess the NCAA feels it's a big deal and worth the punishment.
The NCAA is doing Ohio a favor this year. Ohio would be beaten worse this year than in 2006,2007. This Ohio team has taken advantage of a gravy schedule, Alabama Birmingham, Central Florida, and Miami Ohio combined with a very soft big ten. Seeing them get drubbed 50-7 in a BCS title game would be a major embarrassment to the big ten. To me they look very one dimensional.
...They should double it. Maybe they would take their punishment more seriously. I have to admit though, I love seeing the hurt and crying.
But Tressel wrote a book called 'Integriy'
"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
Does Edward Rife get a vote?
Most Buckeyes think that petition is stupid, count me as one of them. A lot of fans think our bowl ban was for the trading stuff for Tats, when it was because our coach flat out lied....we got what we deserved, no whining here...
And IF we did get to play in it this year, I think we beat Notre Dame, but lose to Bama or Oregon.
Michigan can end the nonsense with a win over Ohio this Saturday.
Let's hope it happens.
