Belichick is a good NFL coach, but he's not exactly the most friendly guy, and I really doubt his demeanor would work particularly well in recruiting kids. The college game and the NFL are wildly different when it comes to building a team.
Harbaugh would have been here for 3 years tops in my opinion. Dude is driven by ego.
Thank you for proving my point using Belichek. Better Coach: Yes Bleeds Maize and Blue: No
"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
I don't think Nick Saban is all that friendly.
Kids want to win and get to the NFL. hoodie would do that.
Nick Saban is business-like in his approach to the game, but when you read about recruit reactions to Alabama visits, he's a teddybear. They have breakfast at Saban's house, they chat about life, yadda yadda yadda.
Also, there's no guarantee whatsoever that Hoodie would develop kids to send them to the NFL. Belichick has been fantastic at designing schemes to maximize the talent he's given, but he hasn't necessarily been great at developing talent.
The point is guys.....I would rather have somebody who thinks UM is their dream job than someone who sees it as a stepping stone or some sort of personal challenge
Harbaugh is still a young guy. I've always thought that maybe after Hoke retires... we could hire Harbaugh.
It would be a great way to end Harbaugh's career if he wins a couple of super bowls.
I'm glad u guys didn't get him but I bet you guys push for Les Miles after Hoke gets fired in a few years. However I don't think He is overrated and overpaid he is a avg coach with a great staff and recruiting base.
Hoke will be fired after he fails to beat Urban a few more times. After by 2016 he will be gone mark my words!
Thanks for your contribution.
You guys beat us 26-21, at home, with a more talented roster.
You are stupid.
And if Hoke beats Urban a few times will you be calling for Urbs head? Could happen you know.
You people really believe Meijer will never lose a game don't you?

People act like Harbaugh made Kaepernick. Harbaugh definitely is a great coach, but Kaepernick didn't exactly come out of nowhere.
He did pass for over 10,000 yards and rush for over 4,000 at Nevada and was a 2nd round draft pick.
He didn't make Kap but he did use Alex Smith to get to the NFC Championship, that's impressive too.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
