Best wishes to Jake, hope he returns better than ever. Never want to see a kid go down with injury, rival or not..
Next man up. This just means that the PT Bolden and Ross got last year was crucial. I'm confident that the LB corps will still be solid this year.

As if we needed further proof that Bucknuts is a haven for scumbags, it took 2 pages in a thread about Ryan before Bucknuts started calling him a "thug," trashing his talent, saying it's "karma" that he tore his ACL, and generally talking crap about the kid. I don't care how much you dislike a school, you don't kick a kid while he's down, that's just pathetic.
Ouch. Never wish injury on anybody. Huge Loss.

Yeah... I forgot that he redshirted, I thought he was a true JR. for whatever reason.
I was surprised. Thought it would take less. Doesn't matter though, most of the ones trashing him are inbred idiots who can barely read or spell.
there goes our defense
Bad break and tough loss for you guys. I hope Jake heals up completely and ahead of schedule. (Docs/PTs seem to have made tremendous strides in that area in recent years.)
As to your post CMXI, I agree one shouldn't kick a kid while he's hurt. However, you talk like Bucknuts is homogenious. You know that's BS for any board. It's a tiny few bad apples, as can be seen if you count the supportive posts versus the negative ones. And, IMHO, twisting the facts to trash a school's fans is almost as pathetic. This thread should be about your man Jake...not what OSU, Bucknuts or individual posters on Bucknuts (or anywhere else) think of young Mr. Ryan.
I just read over it and they were pretty nice actually. WAYYYYY nicer then I thought they would be.
Anyone that would wish that on someone or be happy about it regardless of who they play for is pathetic.
Sure it will help your team but if you have never been through an injury before you don't know the hit it takes to you not only physically but mentally as well.
Regardless of who's on the field, Mattison will have them ready. Damn good DC.
Best of luck to the young man on his recovery.
It didn't take two pages for an idiot Sparty to claim that Ryan - nor anyone else from our defense - couldn't start on Sparty's D.
It amazes me that so many people from a school like State could drum up this kind of stupid.
I chose my words carefully. At no point did I say that everyone on Bucknuts is a scumbag, nor did I intend that. I'll grant that the first page is surprisingly positive, but I can guaran-damn-tee you that if Braxton Miller got hurt, there wouldn't be a peep on this board trashing his character or talent, especially not in a thread acknowledging his injury.
Calling it a "tiny few bad apples" is ridiculous. I count at least 4 different posters trashing Ryan himself, and at least 2-3 more using the opportunity to bash Michigan, and that's not even counting the VIP posts that I can't see. There's no twisting of the facts here - everything I attributed to Bucknuts posters was either a direct quote or plainly obvious. Don't come over here and get all offended that I called out the heads on Bucknuts.
Finally, it's hilarious that you say this thread should only be about Ryan. Tell that to your own brethren who insist on taking the opportunity to talk trash about other Michigan players, Hoke, and Michigan's recruiting. If you're over here to contribute to the discussion, go ahead, but if you're just going to get your panties in a wad, you can GTFO.
Pay these players. Its a travesty that Jake Ryan has to go through this, play with so much risk, for nothing, all while athletic directors and coaches make in the seven digits.
TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO HOHOHOHOHOOOOOOO TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO HAHAHA HOHOHO HIHIHHOHOH NANANANANANANANANANANANANANANANANANANANANAAAAA!
He'll heal fast enough to crack some Buckeye skulls
Cool story, bro. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
I read threw the thread and most of them were being pretty mature and wishing him a speedy recovery but there were a few guys in there that were complete idiots. Calling Jake Ryan a thug?haha have they seen their team??
