Just thinking his top 5 list could really change after his visit to Michigan ala Hood and could actually be like Hand and start to favor us after he sees Ann Arbor. The vibe around Hoke and his staff is incredible after such a subpar season last year.
Kudos fellas...keep it up
I agree and think that Michigan is going to make a run here following Peppers visit.

I want Jabrill more than anyone in this class with Hand and Harris being a close 2nd and 3rd. Jabrill would give us everything we need in one player. A dynamic offensive player. A shut down corner and playmaker on defense. and he could be very dangerous as a return man with his athletic ability.
What makes y'all think that Michigan will make a big jump? Just wondering. Is is because of academics, or coaches, or the tradition? Just wanting to know why everyone is so confident on this one.

Yeah I would like to know the same thing...like I said I really want Peppers but I am not feeling the same optimism as everyone else is feeling on this kid right now...I know we are in his top 4 but he has had Standford and OSU as his top 2 for a long time...
I'm only asking because most you do not get this optimistic about recruits.
Agree. Dont understand the excitement over Peppers. Seems like he is Stanfords to lose. Also,in reference to the OP, what makes you think Hand is starting to favor us over VaTech and Alabama?
He grew up a Michigan fan and he really values academics and a family atmosphere. When he gets to Michigan, he'll realize how great we are at all of those things and will appreciate what we have to offer. Much like the Hand visit, when we knew that we fit his values very well, we fit Peppers very well IMO.
Distance a factor? Obviously alot closer to home then Palo Alto
We'll see what happens. I think Michigan could make a big push after a visit. My only concern is that his childhood fandom seemed to be based on a video game and not the actual school/football program (he used Michigan in NCAA football games). However, if academics truly matter, I would think Michigan can jump OSU. If he then decides that he doesn't want to go clear across the country for school, we could also jump Stanford. We'll see if any of that happens.
If Michigan can land Peppers and Hand, that would be two of the top 3 or 4 players in the country - even with the small class we'll be bringing in, gotta think thta gets us into the top 5 classes (of course I'm getting way ahead of myself).
Since y'all are so confident in Jabrill...I'm gonna go out and limb and say if y'all are right then I don't think we just make a jump...we make a splash. We'll be #1 after the visit.
Took the words right out of my mouth lol!
Except for all the we's in there.

Cool sig and all. Just wondering though, the ones who stay, what will they be champions of?
If you have to ask then you're not a Michigan Man.
It's ok, we know the "we" would have fit for you!
One thing I never understood is how can people say they grew up michigan fans and then still have love for the buckeyes. My faith tells me to never wish bad upon anyone but I wish they lose every game for the rest of time.

He grew up in New Jersey. I'm sure he ''liked'' Michigan but was not a die hard fan.
It does not really matter what we think, as he 'is' visiting us. The coaches have shown over and over that they can impress recruits with our atmosphere. Just get him on campus ..... the rest will work itself out.

My dad is a michigan grad so I grow up liking michigan but it wasn't intil after highschool I started to become a die hard type fan. I'm sure it's the same for alot of these players
Not only that, he is a fan but hasnt even visited the campus and program to see what we have to offer. It seems with alot of kids that have an initial interest, once they visit that interest becomes personified.
I'd be happy with Peppers and Embry and call it a day for 2014 CB recruiting.
I'd be ecstatic.
