Need to write a few paragraphs to justify that your recruits are better than ours.
This is a complete joke. So blatantly wrong and so funny.
My favorite ones:
"Chris Fox versus Billy Price: Michigan’s only out-of-area player versus the Buckeyes’ most under-rated. Price? Think “bigger John Simon.” Fox? Think “good d-lineman.” Advantage? Ohio State
Ben Gedeon versus Cam Burrows: Gedeon (average LB) had a soft OSU offer and Burrows is a legit 5-star national kid (DB). Comparing two positions here but there is no comparison. Advantage? Ohio State
Jalin Marshall versus anybody (OK, let’s put in Logan Tuley-Tillman): Jalin is the only “consensus” five-star guy for either side. T-T might be a four-star guy. Advantage? Ohio State"
"As examples: Taco Charlton won’t be in the top 250 in the end"
drinking their own koolaid
lol why do i even bother reading that, so delusional this dude thinks theyre getting hargreaves and su'a cravens and that lisle is better than dawson, so much homerific BS, BN staff is a joke

1. He is correct in saying that Fox is a "good d-lineman." But he is an elite o-lineman, which is why it's good that we're recruiting him on the OL. Bucknut Fail.
2. Ohio State was recruiting Gedeon as hard as possible and could have committed to OSU if he wanted to. Soft offer my ass. And Burrows is not a 5-star. He's good, but not a five star.
3. You didn't put my favorite, which is that Morris vs. Barrett was a push, as was Kugler vs. Woodard and Bosch vs. Baugh. Oh, and Lisle over Dawson? Is that a joke?
I honestly don't believe that anyone reads this and thinks these guys are serious.
In the Taco vs. Bosa debate:
"Taco is barely three stars and Bosa is really five"
Uhh.. no he's not and no he's not...
How is Shane Morris not get the advantage over Barret? This is just pathetic.
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
That article was absurd in its irrationality and delusions of grandeur. The writer would very easily be able to get a job for the Obama propaganda machine, due to his heavy propensity to spin and demagogue. Outstanding partial, biased write up by them. Also, how are you comparing players at different positions? Yea lets compare LTT to Jalin Marshall. Why you may ask, I have no idea.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
yeah........that was sad
I just like that Anzalone was still in the article...oops.
Funny stuff they are so delusional over there.

Hey guys, regardless of your opinions on a certain article, please don't resort to bashing the actual writer/site where the article was published. Feel free to disagree, argue and point to contrary evidence as much as you'd like, as that's what this site is for. Please just don't let it become personal, though. I'm hoping I don't have to repeat this warning anymore.
That article is pure fiction. Even the author can't honestly believe 3/4 of what he wrote. How in the world can it be inappropriate to point that out? Propaganda is the exact term for what it is.

I've archived that article so that we can revisit it down the road.

Todd, that piece belongs on a blog, not a recruiting site that is suppose to be objective (unless 247 seeks not to be objective). When those types of propaganda pieces come out, accountability for that type of journalism needs to be placed.
It is a homer piece that was written to feed to the Bucknuts masses to make them feel better. That's the whole point of the article. It wasn't intended to be objective.
Agreed, the article was entirely designed to flame Michigan's recruiting success while bolstering Ohio's. No one is delving into real personal insults other than calling the poster of that article a homer, which is as straightforward as can be about it. If Clint ever posted an article playing up Michigan while not-so-subtly insulting Ohio I'd be against that too. Its fine when message board posters make articles of their own assertions/opinions, but with paid writers I'd expect some degree of journalistic integrity.
Not entirely related to this article, but Ohio recruiting in general, Kyle Kalis is the #1 player in state if he is part of the 13 class, and likely 14 as well. So suck on them nuts.

The article is attributed to Mr. Bucknuts! How much more obviously homer can someone be?
Does this guy actually follow recruiting? Taco has been dominant everywhere he goes.
I was referring to the writers association to 247 as his/her employer, and the values of objectivity the employer wants to represent.
They have some contributors on Bucknuts that aren't affiliated or employed by 247 like Baximus FWIW.
"Fake Buckeye" LeCharles Bentley would disagree with some of the things in that sorry excuse of an article.
