OK, I saw this someplace else and am just copying and pasting. Still, very impressive. And somebody did the research obviously. Sorry if it's been posted before.
Tebow: 4,181 yds in 50 quarters played.
Cam Newton: 4,327 yds in 52 quarters played.
Johnny Football: 4,600 yds in only 39 quarters played!
Manziel also has 43 TD's and more forced fumbles than Teo, Manziel has 1, Teo has 0. Teo has had a great year, definitely but worthy of the Heisman? Please...
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
Yeah, but he's ugly. Ugly people can't win the Heisman.
(I laughed at the fact that he has more FF than Te'o though, that's hilarious)
Manziel also has something Te'o doesn't...a police record.
Gringo Mafia Sergeant at Arms - 5 time POTW
Because that matters for the Heisman...
That was before he ever took a snap, not that it matters but ok.
^^^ Problem with America today
Forget about character and being a model citizen!
Good person =/= great football player.
I'm not saying he should run for President or marry my daughter, I'm saying that he is the best college football player in the country. That has nothing to do with character. It has to do with how he plays. And he plays better than Te'o.

I understand that. But I was also under the understanding that it's not just all about what you do in between the lines.
Then why did Cam Newton win it?
What did he do wrong?
So now we're searching for moral victories? The Heisman is about the best player, not the best story, best person, etc - best player, it's as simple as that.
Teo ranks in the top 40 for defensive statistics in just 1 category and that's INT's. that does not scream Heisman...
He's the best player on the best team in the country
It's this simple. We will see how much the bias against a underclassman is all about, in Johnny Manziel, a freshman versus Teo, a four year starter, senior. One of the two will win it, don't care who does. Johnny has my vote if I had one, but I don't, so my opinion does not count.
He stole a computer while at Florida.
If we were going to give awards only for character, by the way...Air Force would be playing BYU in the BCS championship game.
Look, I really, really respect T'eo. I think he will be a good pro, and will be an honorable member of whoever gets him.
But he doesn't deserve the Heisman. Sorry.
Statistically, he's not even the best player on your D. Best team in the country is also debatable considering Bama or UGA is going to do you prison style but ok.
I'm not saying give him the award JUST FOR his character. But character is one of the things that is SUPPOSED to go into that award. Somewhere along the line people obviously have forgotten about that.
The polls have us at #1 unless that has changed.
And sorry but unlike Michigan we don't plan on just laying down and dying.
Ok, we'll see...
I'm pretty sure you won't have a choice when it comes to laying down and dying, Bama's offensive line is insane and Notre Dame wouldn't be able to score on either UGA or Bama's defense.
One way to find out
It's cool. This shit will be settled in Dade County, Miami between the Sec & your team. . Stayed tuned.
