17 commits and about 7-8 spots left
RB Ty Isaac
WR Laquon Treadwell
WR Eldridge Massington
DE Joe Mathis
DT Henry Poggi
LB EJ Levenberry
S Su'a Cravens
That's a top 2-3 class. More realistic would be Isaac, Treadwell, Massington, Poggi, Gibbs, and then guys like Qualls or Cockerille who are under the radar
This would be absolute domination on the recruiting trail.
I don't think so and am happy with the two LBs
Ducksworth hit it right on with those seven and there will be a wild card with it... +1
"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
I would add a NT (maybe from HI? Who knows).
At WR we take two top guys but I am not confident in any two (but two of Treadwell, Allen, Massington, Stringfellow, Ateman, maybe North)
We may see a different DE commit but with same upside as Mathis.
247 is supposed to be giving us tools to project our classes. If/when that feature comes up, we will be able to project the total points for the class.
For real? I had that idea in a thread. I didn't know they were actually doing it. Nice.
I think we're in good shape for Treadwell and Isaac; however, I'm not quite as optimistic about Poggi or Levenberry. I'm more optimistic about Poggi, though. I still think they're both toss-ups.
Edit: Maybe I'm wrong about Poggi. Via the Twitter:

Normally I'd ignore what other recruits say about a kid's chances of ending up at Michigan (see: Magnuson and Pipkins regarding Garnett last year), but I think we are in a good position with Poggi. Having 3 DL coaches is a huge plus. Having Mattison who is well respected and well known in the Baltimore area where Poggi lives is a huge plus. Having a friend in Bosch on the team is a plus. So I think our chances are good there, though I do wish we had the last unofficial before the family goes into decision mode instead of having the visit a month ago or more by the time they decide.
Not feeling great about Levenberry at the moment. Stretching it out until the Army game would not be great for us, IMO.
I'm still playing the drinking game. Your edits are getting me wasted.
I'm going with Isaac, Massington, Treadwell, Mathis, Cravens, Fuller, Vanderdoes and Poggi
Webb kind of mentioned off hand about not pursuing another 3 tech hard. Guess it has something to do with Poggi.
That would be an incredible haul but there's a 0% chance of that happening.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
Vanderdoes might be the only impossible one in there....and I wouldn't even say that. Many of those are strong possibilities....Vanderdoes and Fuller are the real longshots.
Cravens, Vanderdoes and Fuller are all long shots

Is it normal to be talking about finishing up a class 2 months after NSD for the prior class? 8^D
Maybe not a little
My phone autocorrected
That is the proverbial "rich man's dilemma".
I'm not sure who will end up in this class at WR. Other than Treadwell our top targets haven't really visited us yet. It seems that the coaches are targeting a "slot" type. I think Devon Allen fits well there.
Allen would be a scary slot, witht that speed.
My Andriod phone doesnt correct anything on forums. Probably an app that will fix that.
