Go Blue & Gig Em'!
MSU barely beat Eastern and Indiana
And Nebraska giving up 60 points doesn't seem very solid to me
Didn't you guys know that Meijer pulled Dymontes offer?
Oh my am I correct! You will see, you all will and I ll make sure to come back and visit! Dont be afraid, Urban is just here to help you guys step your game up, of course, you guys didnt need Urb to tell you to step your game up, you've had the last 5 to 10 years tell you that, and when you think about it , you do need Urb, because he ll at least give you a chance to compete by leaving you some Ohio talent, hopefully you can make the best of it! Ill go back to my most popular 247 site now and talk with my buckeye buds about our undefeated season, hiesman candidate, rock star proven coach, eventual top 3 recruiting class, our 7-0 record to be, our future victory over scUM in the shoe this year and our best damn band in the land getting world wide media hype......oh how great it is to be a Buckeye! peace out wolvies! Go Bucks!!!
Ohio: 20.5 points allowed over 6 games. This is 35th in the nation.
Michigan: 21.0 points allowed over 5 games. This is 38th in the nation.
Of course, this doesn't account for the fact that Michigan has played #2 Bama and #11 Notre Dame. I'm sure Michigan's scoring defense would have been much better if Michigan had not played Bama or a triple option team like Air Force. (Btw, in 2009 Ohio played Navy in the season-opener and won 31-27. That Ohio team went to the Rose Bowl and beat Chip Kelly's Oregon.)
Lastly, neither of the two ranked teams Ohio has beaten is now ranked in the top 25. Both of them were ranked in the 20s when Ohio played them.
* * * N E O . R E T R O * * *
How is your class going to be top 3??? Are you getting Nkemdichie?
I see your missed field goal and raise you 3 turnovers in msu territory to their NONE on their HOME TURF. Get out of here with that missed field goal nonsense
And who's your entire offense?. And hmmm, last time i checked we beat the sec team we played. I think it was the same year Miss St(sec) beat you guys around 70-3. FWIW, we lose to the #1 TEAM IN THE COUNTRY when we get our butts handed to us. USC included
None of you guys better litter or jaywalk bc thats what JT did in the grand scheme of things. You have Oregon paying for recruits out of Texas and you wont hear a peep but you better not trade those gold pants for tattoos! Give me a break. That whole thing is still comical to me. We have the better coach now so i couldnt care less but its still the most pathetic nationwide "cheating" campaign ive ever seen. Penn St was right in front leading it. Karma
Tattoo-gate also brought into perspective how much other cheating was going on that we will never know about
We are currently the leader for 5 atar LB Mike Mitchell , in the top 2 for 5 star tackle Dorian Johnson, 4 star wt Tony Stevens really just decommitted from fsu and according to very credible sources is headed to columbus.....these among a few 4 star players currently have us in their top 2, not to mention, shelton gibson, 4 star wr from Ohio is all buckeye, considering all of this I estimate we land at least 2 of these prospects...and oh yea, 4 star wr James Quick has us even with Louisville right now, id say its safe to say we more than likely will move up to at least #3 by signing day!!!
I agree. The D is confusing/embarrassing as hell. Has alot of potential but lets 5 major yardage plays occur per game. We'll see if it gets ironed out. I agree about the polls as well. They shouldnt even come out until 3/4 through the season. That's obvious when 7 sec teams round out the preseason top 10 every year
Were also in position with Laquon Treadwell, D. Green, Leon McQuay III. Where is Mike Mitchell a 5*? Also, 247 does their rankings on a curve, and the best players give their class ranking more weight, and then its a sliding scale for lesser players comprising a lesser weight for the total ranking of the class.....for Ohio to jump Michigan, basically its probably a scenario where you have to get most of your remaining prospects, and they need to be ranked like 93-94 or higher, and Michigan gets none of ours, which could happen. That would be for only 1 site though. How many more are you guys taking for this class? Are you at 17 right now?

Alabama destroyed you and made Denard Robinson look like a Div. 3 punter. Your best recruit Shane Morris had to fake mono because he was playing so bad this year that he was going to get dropped to a 2 star after that Ignatius game. You will lose at least 3 more games this year and when you watch Brady on the sidelines you can see the look on his face that last year was the luckiest streak of games in the history of football. Brady Hoke is a career 50% coach and will return to those types of numbers in the very near future. The only reason UM wins any games is because of Greg Mattison. I can't wait until Urban Meyer destroys all of your faith in that fat retard on Nov. 24th and continues OSU's winning ways. Once Meyer gets his whole team in Columbus OSU will never lose another BIG game for the next twenty years until Urban retires. Maybe UM should go all out and get a coach with a 60% coaching record after Hoke is fired in three years.
you'll be eating your words soon
Tressel had one loss to us. Meyer probably none. He scars me.
You just lost to Florida(the last SEC team you played, NOT THE #1 team in the country) last year. Even with our losses to Bama and Miss St, we have 10 times the record vs the SEC that you do. Please, don't be naive enough to believe that Tatgate wasn't more than just trading their own memorabilia for tats.
Man, you're an idiot.
I don't completely disagree about our defense. We have not been the silver bullets ofthe past that is for sure. However, we force turnovers which I like. I think we get better weekly even though the stats do not show it. We play more freshman than any team in the country. Not an excuse, just a fact. I do think its noteworthy though that Nebraska jumped 17 points early (one td set up with short field by punt return). After that first quarter, they only scored 21 points. I know it's still ugly, just looking at the glass half full.
Here is the caveat though. Our O, which it sounds like we can all agree, was not bad at all against Nebraska. We got off to a slow start. But we put up 63. That's not a good game. That's a frickn great game. All three phases of the game scored. If we put up 63, no team in the big ten will beat us. I do realize that wont happen every game. Just sayin.
When you guys do beat Sparty, let us know how bad they were. They have a very good D an one that is made for offenses like ours...and yours. So do tht then tell us they were nobody. You do realize though, if they beat you, this entire thread should be deleted right?
That's the problem with relying upon historic glory. You'll just have to work around the technological discontinuities, I guess. Perhaps, if UM's past decade had been noteworthy...well, no sense in dwelling.
Somehow ohio fans forget the guy receive the memorabilia and paying the players for them was a drug kingpin... if you guys feel that's just the way college football is played then that's on you. Urban scares nobody, he will never play a snap. Braxton is good, but he looks to have the same issue as Denard; a bad thrower that takes a lot of punishment as the year goes on.
If you want to live in your tarnished decade, then we can live in our domination in the 90's... the last time the 2 teams played Michigan won, what will happen in November is up for debate but to act like 13 year olds about it is ignorant and no longer funny.
No, Brax can throw. Also he is around 220 lbs, must more sturdy than Denard.
6-0 vs 4-2. Enough said GO BUCKS!
Oh he can? Hasn't he come out of 2 games already this season after being banged up?
