Jeff Weintraub @ TheDailyTraub 25m Per source: Michigan freshman RB Derrick Green got hurt in practice today and is out 2 weeks 06:59PM
Well it's better than an ACL tear.
No idea yet, only source is this tweet and retweets.
At 240 lbs he clearly had too much weight for his ankles to support.
At 240 he'll be a load for a depleted LB core to stop
Yeah your boys had a couple (or at least one) disappear from practice today also with potential injuries.
DB Jayme Thompson broke ankle in practice today - gone 3 months.

He'll report back about 255lbs after an idle 2 weeks...
At least he didnt smack a female
Or steal a laptop...
Come on ban hammer
fwiw, i'm not making injury jokes (that's low). i'm making fat jokes (acceptable).
You're enough of an embarrassment on the Rivals mainboard. Stay there if you insist on being a degenerate idiot.
Never seen a fanbase more concerned about an opponent's incoming freshman player in my life. You guys are spending more time tracking Derek Green's progress than we are. Don't worry ... I'm sure he'll be as gentle as possible.
How's Urbie's health these days? WOTS is those chest pains are starting to act up again.
A couple of their OL are also already dinged up. Sure hope it's not one if those nagging injuries that hobble an OL all season. They don't exactly have a lot of depth up front.
Urbie's health is great. Looks great and says he feels great. How about Brady's waist-line?
OSU should be concerned about keeping their players from hurting women. JMO.
If only he was capable of actually telling the truth, then maybe that'd be believable. Unfortunately for you guys, he's a pathological liar.
Have you actually looked at the kid? If Green is "fat" at 5'11" 240 does the same logic apply for Carlos Hyde at 6'0" 242?
I haven't heard any problems with Coach Hoke's waisteline. Certainly nothing that would cause him to quit on his team and tuck tail and run.

I don't think Hyde reported to OSU at 240. Pretty sure he was around 220-225 lbs. 4 years later he had packed on another 20 lbs of good weight. Who knows maybe Green is very physically mature for an 18 year old, but I doubt your coaches are going to want him playing heavier than 240 going forward and he has 4 years to go.
I'm pretty sure our staff doesn't care what you think is the proper playing weight for Derek Green. And he has three months to recover from his minor injury before we meet up with you. But thanks anyway for your concern.
I just don't really get why you are here? Why even bother? Seems really pathetic imo.
Who cares what he started out at. That is irrelevant. Maybe Green is just a larger person physically. I recall a great running back many years ago from Pitt and his name was "ironhead" Heyward. If I recall he played at 265lbs and wasn't quite 6 foot. Now, I am not saying Green is Heyward; but that man could make athletic db's look foolish. He had the footwork and the quick burst speed.......and power! Every person is different.
