@SamWebb77: According to @BillBankGreene, Gareon Conley has decided to visit Ohio State for the match-up with #Michigan this weekend
Leave it to a MSU fan to start a thread on it.
Does he have an offer from them?
Saw this one. A few thoughts ...
1. Coaches must have known this was coming as the JR offer last weekend demonstrates. The coaches decided to go after a high-quality recruit, with the best chance at landing - aka JR. I believe JR stays at MSU, but UM will give him a pause as he coveted the offer from the start.
2. For Conley to do an OV against your arch-rival, on the day of the game, is an insult and glaring alarm of 'I'm gone.'
3. Another reason for early-signing period in football.
“Those who stay will be champions”
― Bo Schembechler
As MSU can not recuit elite players, they have to live through UofM.
Is it an OV or just a visit?
In regards to #1, the Reschke offer likely has nothing to do with the Conley situation. Sam Webb said that he knows the reason why Reschke was offered but was not at liberty to share at this time. When he says something like that, it's usually because the reason is team-related (a career ending injury, possible transfer, etc) and not recruiting related.
Didn't know 5.6 3 star is "elite"
I would say very good chance he commits to them
Look Sparty ... everyone tries to poach our players. Your only player people want is JR. For a team that is 5-6, you do not have a pot to pee in.
Just thought it was interesting and, as other posters eluded too, is a huge dick move on his part..
Mistaken. A number of good sources have confirmed that the JR offer had nothing to do with our current commits but more with possible attrition on the current roster.
Edit I see someone addresses this
I still want to wait til Saturday. call me skeptical about anything from bill Greene. After all just days ago he reported UM was trending well again.

Oh well, cut him loose, on to the next one
This could work in our favor. after we beat them he may see that the tide is changing and come to Michigan after all.
If he signs with OSU as a receiver I think it would be a mistake on his part. I think he has the potential to make it to the NFL as a corner. Although he'll be a good player on either side of the ball wherever he goes imo.
Well, good luck to him. That he is visiting for this game means I would rather just wave goodbye and happily move on.
Nothing to come back to. Coaches will pull his scholarship.
Yep, I'd rather they recruit guys who WANT to go to UM like Damario Jones or Channing Stribling.
I was under the impression that recruits could take visits as long as they cleared it with the coaches. I thought the whole Dawson thing was due to the fact he was hiding his visits.
Nope. If you're committed to Michigan, there's no need to take visits. If you take visits, we look elsewhere.
I think he means that the coaches wouldn't necessarily pull your offer. if you take visits that means you're not committed, but I think you might still be recruited and have an opportunity to come back.
Edit: Not suggesting that's what would happen here. Just that that's my understanding of the policy in general.
