damn if Denard isn't back for 2nd half were screwed.
I think we may have to put Gardner back there if Denard can't come back.

I feel like I just got shot in my dick
Bellomy = deer in headlights = lamb to the slaughter etc. etc.
At least we have the option of Gardner. As much as I'd like to see Gardner as a WR, it's not like we're stuck with Bellomy or a true freshman.
Bellamy needs to ride the bench,he couldn't hit the broadside of a barn

Ugleeee first half, offensively.
Ya, but how many snaps at QB has Gardner been getting during practice?
If Bellomy keeps playing like this, I'm switching my prediction from Bellomy being the starting QB next year to Shane being the starting QB next year.
He looks better than Denard.
I know he looks terrible now, but to say he'll never be ready is reaching. He's thrown something like 5 passes all year in garbage time, and we suddenly stick him into the red zone and then a 51-second-drill against one of the better teams in the B1G. I acknowledge that he looks awful now, but we're really jumping to conclusions to assume that he'd never be ready.
Yes, Denard has done so much tonight.
That may be true but that 5 yard out to Funchess when he has no pressure he HAS to make. That is not deep. It is not covered. He was not pressured.

Forget MSU, this might be the worst offense in the Big Ten
Michigan has not scored a TD in 6 quarters. HOW?!?!?!?
Are you watching right now? You can't seriously think Russell Bellomy is the answer. Our best shot at winning is with Denard at the helm, plain and simple.
These are his first meaningful snaps in a game and they are on the road in an extremely hostile environment.
I said he "may" never be ready. That implies a possibility. At the moment I haven't seen anything that makes it probable to me that he will be a decent starter next year or thereafter. That doesn't mean he can't still develop into one, but you gotta accept the possibility that he isn't good and never will be. It's not like he's a true frosh or a slow statue asked to play the spread optio or anything.
Exactly. If you can't make that throw then you can't run the offense. It doesn't get any easier. How can we open the play book at all if he can't make even the most routine throws?
Let's just hope Denard comes back.
Denard, 6-11 for 55 yards.
Bellomy, 0-4 for 0 yards.
Denard, 10 for 46 yards.
Bellomy, 2 carries for -8 yards.
I don't right now, but it isn't like Denard is lighting the world on fire right now either.
Borges needs to change the play calling though.
You're acting like I said Bellomy is doing better. All I'm saying is Denard really isn't doing anything special. He is staring down his intended receiver every play and forcing just about every pass. If he comes back in, I'll be extremely surprised if he doesn't throw a pick.
Well here is to hoping it was just jitters and he settles down and plays well the second half.
