Per our new addition Kipp Adams; free article with quotes from the younger Fournette and his father.
The most coveted running back prospect in nearly a decade will take official visits to five out-of-state programs with an eye toward a January decision.
Recognize my life, ridicule my fight. Give me fuel for the fire burning when I yearn these lights.
Preparation for the upcoming season prevented him from coming to the BBQ? In the off season? After they already paid for plane tickets?
Kinda surprised, but nice that he is going to visit.
Please be for the ND game!
Just getting the kid on campus will be a major achievement.
With Hoke and Company, you just never know what will happen.
Could you imagine? "I'm going to Michigan!"
- Leonard Fournette
Boy who cried wolf rabble rabble...
Nobody on this board can define the word regression.... but it sure gets used a lot.
An absurd amount of pessimism in the reactions; kids cancel visits all the time.
These are quotes from he and his father both; not speculation about being at the airport, or even family members being sick like we had reported may have been the case. Getting him on campus is a win, regardless if he ends up choosing Michigan or not.
I'm with you on this one Steve. I hope he comes for the ND game. With all the big names there that visit could be electric and who knows once the coaches get a kid on campus.
And this surprises you? We read tweets and posts about the visit and that they were at the airport, departing at 6. Then....poof. A family member was ill and now we read a training session suddenly alters his plans.
Is there pessimism? Yep. Is it absurd? Nope.
Do we know anything about his little brother?
Yeah, I checked his profile. I mean, is he any good? He looks small. With the 2015 class being small, I don't see us taking someone who's not likely to be a contributor someday.

Nothing more then a free trip to see what Peppers has been preaching to him about. He cancels a trip which he has to pay his own way and then 36 hours later schedules a trip that will be payed for. Pretty obvious. He is not coming here fellas, downvote me all you want because I really don't care. Let's get Weber in 2015.
THE DREAM LIVES
I would prefer Patrick over weber if we are taking two RB's.
Many would. However it's more likely that Weber would commit first.
Most people don't check the player pages; his film is next to non-existent, so it's hard to tell. I feel like he'd have more offers by now if he was an elite prospect.
im with steve on this one, i had a source when he was at the camp he attended in ohio that claimed all he could talk about was michigan and getting up there to visit. this source asked him if the could weather would bother him, he said not at all and that it didnt matter because those northern boys have never seen anything like him before.

First of all, thank you Steve for the news so we can talk about something different rather than put up 1,000 post in the "potential news" article. Second, I think most of you don't see the good side of this. An official is free for him and a lot cheaper for the parents to make it up. He cancelled his visit the first time sure but how many recruits reschedule a couple days later? A BBQ visit and an official would have been amazing, but I will take an official from the top prospect in the nation any day. Remind yourselves who all will be at UTL2 (if he takes that one of course).
Exactly, hokes first year, that's when he really hit the ground running with some national big time prospects after that game. Why not continue the trend
