I dont care either..Whatever coach Hoke decides, I will be 100% behind him. I can get around the fact that this fanbase wants a 1 game suspension for selfish reasons, message board wars with rival fans, and understand that this issue will be dealt with appropiately. Coach Hoke is a leader, coach, father, mentor to these kids. If he plays great!! if he doesnt great!!
He should play.
If you or I were ticketed for DUI, should the boss suspend you from your desk job? Of course not, unless you or I work as drivers.
Completly different situation. This is a respected university where we don't BS our way through punishments with Stonum getting suspended, but then have Toussaint not miss a game. He needs to be punished for the sake of deterring other team members to stay clean.

We are college football
Seriously that is a bad statement, people get fired over DUI, they just don't get a 1 game suspension, or a you are in the doghouse speech, come join us in the real world, thanks
I'm starting to wonder if Hoke doesn't "wait for the legal system to play itself out" and then suspend Fitz for the Air Force or UMass game. I'd be alright with that, but I definitely think Fitz should miss a game. He's a public figure at a well respected University, he is held to a higher standard than those of us working regular jobs, even though he's probably not as mature.
If he plays against Bama but then gets suspended for AF or UMass, it's going to look awful shady.
That won't happen.
Agree with Kyle, that just won't happen. The sentencing isn't until late October, so you can't suspend for the 2nd/3rd games with no new legal info available.
I can't wait for this time next week since we won't have to talk about this topic anymore. Nobody knows the full situation so to talk about what punishment will or won't be the moral high road is pointless.
