Didn't see these posted, new Zak Irvin highlights.
I hope people realize the significance of a 6'7" cold blooded shooter who can create his own shot, drive the lane and play defense. Especially in Beilein's system. I've been a big fan of Irvin's game for a long time and I cannot wait until he gets to Ann Arbor.
Need a big shot? Just call Zak. 6'7 w/ rise. I don't think the boy has ever met a shot he didn't like. Catch him next season at Michigan.
Don't be scared. Blue will show well and then win in my opinion.
I'll be ecstatic if he stays for more than one year. The NBA will gush over this kid.
I expect him to be a top 10, maybe top 5 pick by the time he decides to go pro.
Anything can happen, but I'm expecting him to (at the least) match his hype the same way all of Beilein's recruits have. If he does so, the sky is truly the limit for him. He has nearly all the attributes NBA teams look for.
It's too early to worry about Zak Irvin potentially being one-and-done.
There's a lot of variables at play. For instance, here's a few just off the top of my head:
1. the depth chart (Hardaway and Glenn Robinson returning versus neither returning)
2. quality of 2014 NBA draft (which is expected to be loaded)
3. actual performance as a freshman
* * * N E O . R E T R O * * *
This is all true, but he has the talent/potential to qualify as a one and done if a few things play out. Not really too far fetched either.
I hope and pray that he stays at least 2 years. The (realistic) potential of our team in a couple of years; Stauskas, Levert and McGary as juniors, Walton, Donnal and Irvin as sophomores, our most-likely stacked class of 2014 as freshmen. Horford as a senior. That team could be sensational.
We could three-peat!!!

NBA BASKETBALL HD SPORTS HIGHLIGHTS CLIPS BLOOPERS FAILS
Espn. They couldn't leave well enough alone. Had to go and do this crap.
Man that spin move he does in the beginning of those highlights was sick.
GRIII needs to stay. I so need to see Irvin, McGary and GRIII play on the same team.
If the team decides to pull a Florida and all return for a run:
Burke - Walton - Albrecht
Stauskas - Levert
Robinson III - Donnal
Hardaway - Irvin
McGary - Morgan - Horford
I would be cool with that.
I have thought about this many many times. Coach B would have so many different combinations he could use that they could match up with every single type of team.
I thought Morgan was done?
He is a redshirt junior this year.
Damn. Oh well.
hahaha you sound happy...I hated him last year soooo much but this year I thought he was so much better. Still not great by any means, solid defensively but thats about it. decent rebounder at BEST and brutal offensively
I thought he was good in the past against Sullinger and he was good at the start of the season. I'm not writing him off. His downfall this year came from his ankle injury and I think he'll be totally different when that's healed next year.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
I can absolutely see that because at the beginning of the year I thought he was much better than Mcgary but when that ankle injury hit him it wasn't good. He has not gotten even close to as much playing time since. Either McGary made that big of a jump or Morgan is still bothered by that ankle...I think it is a little of both
I think Morgan could become a big factor tomorrow especially if McGary or Horford get into foul trouble. He may come into the game with a big chip on shoulder and something to prove which could help this team.
I will not post further until the game is over. While I fully expect OSU to pull it out, I will talk junk if they do not.
u called it, at least the big ten looks good
Tom Crean is a great recruiter but a terrible coach. He is the Lane Kiffin of CBB.
Both of those guys are scumbags as well.
