I noticed a major weakness that UM needs to try to exploit against Kansas. McGary is a near tireless worker and even Morgan likes to beat his big up the floor. We need to try to push the tempo because Withey jogs slow up the court. We can speed the tempo and rotate bigs enough to keep them fresh, we can wear him out. We need to run every chance we get, even when they score. If our shots are falling from outside then look out!

Not as much as Oladipo. The media's love for Oladipo is sickening. He's not even the 2nd best player in the big ten. Deshaun Thomas and maybe Cody Zeller are better than him.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
Zeller's better than Oladipo. He had a lull in the middle of the season right around the time Oladipo had a number of good games, but he's more important to IU and impacts a game more than Oladipo. It must irritate him a little at how much credit Oladipo gets for IU's success this year.

Looks like everyone at FGCU is taking full advantage of this tournament run.
Gonna get ducked.
Talk about a spread eagle.
It's about to get real against Self and Jayhawks.
Sweet Sixteen is where the men are separated from the boys.
Michigan has the smallest spread of the 8 games this round. - 1.5 per Pinnacle.
Just like to post this video again, because it makes me so happy:
Mitch McGary getting lots of love this week. Let's up he continues to play at this level.
Worried about Mcgary getting into foul trouble
Yeah, it's a concern. But we have more depth inside this year than any year Beilein has been at UM. Coach Beilein will rotate McGary, Horford and Morgan to keep them fresh and to try to avoid foul trouble on McGary. Of course, KU has the same issue. Withey could get into foul trouble. And Withey gets tired. KU is almost certainly much more dependant on Withey than we are on McGary. McGary just needs to play smart and cannot be relied upon to carry the entire load against Withey. He is going to need help.
I would prefer it if Morgan stayed as far away from the floor as possible
You can't have your cake and eat it too. We are going to need minutes from him against KU.
Morgan's limited athletically, but he's a solid defender and rebounder. He's been off his game lately, but I think some of that is him trying to do too much. He's trying to be more like McGary. And other players are expecting him to be more like McGary. He's not McGary. He doesn't have McGary's athleticism or size. He needs to play within himself ... and Burke and the others need to stop expecting him to play at McGary's level on offense. He just doesn't have the skill set.
Dick Vitale's Sweet 16 picks:
He thinks all the B1G teams are going to win, eh?
OSU and IU have played better than Arizona and Syracuse nearly all season. And UM and MSU both are playing very well. Also, UM and MSU both are only 2 pt underdogs. I doubt we go 4 for 4, but it's not crazy.
Well it's a little crazy.
I guess the two people who downvoted me enjoy their senior center missing layups and turning the ball over
Ok. A little. But trying to pick all eight games correctly is inherently a little crazy. It's a very low probability endeavor. Even if he picked all the favorites, he's bound to get some wrong. He basically picked the two games with the smallest spreads as upsets. He is going out on a limb, but it's a relatively short limb.
I didn't downvote you. I just responded to your post.
Edit: I just upvoted you to help.
Ok ... the UM hype has officially gotten out of hand to the point I'm afraid it's either going to jinx us or at least cause KU to show up Friday feeling seriously disrespected and with something to prove. I don't like this sh%t at all.
I really liked being the popular upset pick in the first two rounds. I don't like this at all.
Same here. I really think one of the reasons we came out so strong against VCU was having to listen to everyone talk for a week about how we were going to get destroyed by them. I can imagine KU is beginning to feel the same way going into this Friday's game.
