McGary with a huge possession. He got a rebound on a missed FT from Stauskas and kept it alive and then followed through on a great dunk even though hardaway got fouled. Then on Hardaway's missed FT, he got another offensive rebound and put it up for an and 1.
And he forces a turnover on Northern's next possession. He's playing great in his second stint of the game.
GR3 with an impressive athletic move for the and 1.
The half ends 38-21 Michigan. Started out 17-0 and really cooled down.
Albrecht, Robinson, McGary, and Stauskas all look great. Morgan and Hardaway stood out as well to me.
In his halftime interview, Beilein says that it's the first time he's had 5 freshman on the floor at once. You can tell he's excited about the youth and the depth that he has.
Cheers to you Ducks for all the updates!!

That's a stream for the game.. in case anyone was wondering.
Hot damn, Spike opens the second half with back to back 3's.
52-26.. great start to the second half.
I can't get it to work on my iPhone. Kinda tech deficient.
Went to a BW3 in Cincy to watch it and they say they don't get it, fml. I think they are Buckeye fans. So just sitting here enjoying my beer and acting like I'm into this MAC game. Waiting on ducks next update lol.
Yikes, huge dunk on a break from McGary.
We've really started strong in both halves. Hopefully we can keep it going in this half as opposed to slowing down like we did in the first.
Team looks good, albeit it being Northern Michigan.
Stauskas looks like he is just automatic.
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
That couldn't have been McGary. MSU fans assured me he wasn't athletic enough to dunk a basketball.
Stauskas just proved me wrong by driving and a sweet reverse layup
Nick MF Stauskas.
Not gonna work on iphone... it's flash based.
McGary is a freaking monster though. Impressive.
Northern had a sweet alley-oop. I think we're still gonna win, though.
Thoughts I wrote in another thread.
I am liking what I see with Spike, but I wonder if he has the speed to take B1G PGs off the dribble. If he can, then Michigan has a solid backup PG. Stauskus has a smooth shot. Kid is going to drain a ton of 3's for Michigan in his career.
Albrecht won't do great in the Big Ten as a freshman. Good thing is that he probably won't need to with Burke playing basically the whole game when it matters. We don't need him to be great in Big Ten play. He'll be serviceable, which is what we need from Burke's backup

As a backup PG he doesn't have to take guys of the dribble. What he has to do is facilitate the offense, keep the TOs down, and play solid D.
Holy McGary just stuffed a layup. Awesome block.
