MINNY!!!!! THANK YOU!!!
Let's take care of business, Wolverines!
I agree completely. Burkes scoring average coupled with his assist to turnover ratio is ridiculous.
Oh and hell yeah Minny. Stupid Wisconsin game still has me pissed. We could be controlling our own destiny for an outright title.
IMO if we beat MSU and IU, Burke will win POY. If we at least beat IU and Burke plays well, he still has a very good chance. If we lose to IU and it costs us a share of the B10 title, I think Oladipo wins it. But you are right, this loss by IU will stop the recent momentum behind Oladipo.
Control our own destiny. Win out = Big Ten Champs. I love it.
Good god it's hard to win on the road in college basketball. Florida just went down at Tennessee.
Florida's not that good. I'm not sure why everyone is so fascinated by them. If they were in the Big Ten, they wouldn't even be in the top 25.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
UF is very good. They get overhyped a bit because the SEC is so bad that UF's stats make them look better than they are, but they are definitely among the top 10-15 teams in the country. Also, they have been playing shorthanded recently (two players down with injuries). They are one of a small number of teams I would not like to see in our region in the NCAA.
With the UF loss, both Jerry Palm and Joe Lunardi have Michigan as a #1 seed once again.
It's pretty simple for Michigan now. Win the rest of their remaining regular season games and I think they are a lock for #1 seed. If they don't then they need to win the BTT to have a shot at a 1 seed.
If we win the rest of our games I think we'll end the season as #1 in the nation. I'm so glad we're back to controlling our own destiny, amplifies everything exponentially.
They've lost to teams such as Arkansas and Tennessee. They have no real big wins on the season. The reason they're so high is the softness of the SEC schedule.
I agree their schedule is soft, but they came into the Tenn game without one of their best 3-point shooters and another player who normally comes off the bench and contributes solid minutes. And then, during the game, one of their starters was knocked out. I'm pretty sure they weren't 100% at Arky or Mizzou either, but I don't feel like digging it up. We know what it's like playing without Jordan Morgan. It's tough. That said, UF should have everyone back by the NCAA. I agree they have been a little overrated most of the season, but they are a very good team on both ends of the court when healthy.
FWIW ... UM -13 @PSU
Vegas clearly doesn't understand this is a classic trap game.
I think the game at Purdue will be a trap game. It's between MSU and IU. That's a lot of emotional roller coaster
They both scare me a little.
The game tonight scares me because Penn State hasn't won a Big Ten game yet this year. It rarely happens that a team goes winless for the entire conference season.
Don't be scared! Remember, they suck.
Well of course they suck that is why they have 0 conference wins.
Oh, thanks. Now I have one more reason to panic.
I just wanted at least one person on the panic wagon with me.
Given the way we've played recently, I'm worried about every game
This is something I sort of disagree with, but Jay Bilas named Trey Burke the 2nd most clutch player in America.
ESPN Video: In his Weekly Report, Jay Bilas counts down the six most clutch players in college hoops.
What do you disagree about that? That he should be higher?
If you're saying he should be lower, Trey Burke is very clutch. I don't like the play where the time's winding down and we just have him take a step back 3 as time expires, but that's the design, not on him. He always shows up in big games and plays well when we need baskets. He also saves his best defense for when we need it the most (see: OSU)
LOL! This was more embarrassing than losing by 20 to state on national tv
