Going to the game tomorrow, so I won't be posting here. What are everyone's thoughts on the game? Biggest surprise? Biggest concern?
Personally, I can't wait to see how the offense performs with Fitz back and I am worried that the DL is going to get pushed around by an undersized OL.
A lot of pain for AF.
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
I want to see a few things:
1. How the D-Line performs when it isn't going up against the best OL in the country.
2. LB improvement. With Ross and Bolden each getting playing time against Bama, I want to see a strong effort out of our starting 3 in order to hold off talk of the freshmen needing to see the field.
3. Courtney Avery. He won't get tested much through the air, but I want to see him playing intelligently. He had a number of physical miscues against Bama, but I think he can be much better than what he showed.
4. The running game. I want to see Fitz back in action, and I want to see how the re-tooled OL can handle themselves.
Tackling. It was terrible last week especially our db's .
Tackling and Toussaint. Lot and lot of Toussaint.
this, expecting us to put a pretty good beatdown on af
I expect this game to look a lot like EMU of last year except more Fitz

I am not worried at all. Biggest surprise is Gardner gettingt 125 yards+ receiving. Biggest concern is really nothing ... I don't think we cover the spread due to so much running.
I think we win easy by around 17.
I'm hoping for improved tackling, a very disciplined defense, and a whole lot of running by our backs.
How did that workout?
