“Those who stay will be champions”
― Bo Schembechler
Definitely a good get for MSU here.
Has it been confirmed if he's announcing for basketball, football, or both?
Tremendous sides with Drake picking Michigan here and his reasoning makes a lot of sense. I don't think this is a lost cause quite yet, the timing lines up with Michigan unless he made a secret trip up to EL.
I really think he wanted the Michigan offer to aid in the persona if you will of MSU. Don't know the kids personality but might be a very good recruiter for MSU on the trail, especially in Michigan since he plays both sports. Good get for MSU, but I think the Hoke Express has already left the station.
Good get for MSU.
Great now I cant even see my own post
It's bullshit because it was clear from the beginning that neither of them would be able to play both, and both bit on MSU selling it to them anyway. Same with Harris. It's not just "hard" to play both in college, it's pretty much impossible nowadays, considering how much effort and work has to be put in, and how much overlap there is between the two sports. Harris is picking MSU because he has an offer in both sports, and he's not going to end up playing both in college.
Still plenty of time until NSD 2014, and for a kid with this much uncertainty in his future who knows what happens.
Didnt get offered from Beilein(not that he isnt deserving) but the kid wants to play both, crystal clear where hes going imo

It's really not that big of a deal. The kid prefers basketball to football and Michigan State is clearly the superior school for basketball.
