Let me start by saying that I am a true Michigan fan, however, I think the statement made by Allen Pinkett that in order for ND to get back to the place their fans want to see them “they have to get more criminals on the team” can be applied to both Michigan and the BIG 10 as a conference. Last night Michigan’s D and O-Lines got pushed around; our receivers were flat out bullied. I really did not see much heart or anger except for D-Rob and Norfleet. I know we want a certain type of player on our team, however, we just may want to find a few guys that are just a little more hungry, who enjoy bullying people, talking smack and winning football games. Those are the players that the teams like Alabama and the rest of the SEC are recruiting. These are also the same type players that are being recruited by MSU and OSU. So, Michigan and the rest of the BIG 10 have two choices, hold tight to the past and keep thinking that you can come close to competing with kids that fit the “Michigan profile” “great kids, good homes, well spoken, solid citizens” and keep complaining you are getting your teeth kicked in by the likes of Bama, MSU and OSU. Or start looking for more of the kids that have just two goals in mind, winning championships in college and to playing on Sunday. As I heard on the Bill King show the other day “you cannot expect to be Harvard Monday – Friday and expect to be Alabama on Saturday” because it just does not work that way anymore.

So what you are saying is that high character people can't be good football players?
No, that is not what I’m saying. What I’m saying is, if well coached, in which Alabama is, a football team that is comprised of at least 8 players especially on the O & D-lines willing to run over their own mothers to win will always beat a well coached team with fewer or none. That is just a fact.
this needs to be deleted.
Just because Bama has talent, it means they have criminals playing for them? They ain't Auburn.
Come on man, Barrett Jones is straight gansta. (g)

No. Stupid analysis. Why do the Catholic league schools win consistently year in and year out?

Well I believe a noted strength of every OL recruit we have this year is their "nasty streak." Not concerned. Hard to be really nasty or "bad" in a spread scheme.
Yes ... really.
Bama guys are far from criminals. We are not even penalized a lot. Determination is not the same as criminal. We don't have guys getting in trouble.
I think physicality is a huge part of who we are and it's just a different train of thought from someone that recently ran the spread. You guys will get there soon.
This might be the stupidest post I've seen in recent memory, and considering some of the things people have posted on our board recently, that's saying something.
Bama has run a pretty good program in recent years...I don't think their trouble rate is higher than any. Some other schools have more to defend, actually.
The SEC is simply better right now...that is a fact.
