What about Oregon coming to visit him??
Go to Mgoblog to see the update.
Changed the thread title to reflect the update.
The coaches don't have a rule against schools visiting a committed player. They cant dictate that.
We may still have to worry about Oregon. They are reported to be at Conley's school this week.
His head coach won out, gotta respect his coach for not wanting him to take visits. Still not out of the woodwork yet
Isn't his coach a Michigan alum?
I'm just ready for a UM win today, much needed. Too much drama with the GC situation at this time.
This kid needs to decide whether he wants to be a part of this class or not. If he doesn't just go ahead and de-commit and get it over with. He's a talented player, but it would be a shame for us to miss out on another talented kid that wanted to be here because Conley is just using us as a placeholder until he gets an Oregon offer.
Great news to start the day! Anyone think Hoke had a talk with him?
Hope so. I hope Hoke told Conley the exact same thing he told Dawson. Then it's all up to Conley to decide if he wants to stay a commit or take visits.
I would think so. Either that or Hoke talked to his parents/coaches. Pretty sure it was Wilcher who talked to Dawson and Richardson when they had wavering eyes, not Hoke.
"Dude"..... someone needs to buy you a clue.

Not sure if serious.
It's actually rare during the season for a recruit to stay all weekend. These kids have games on Fridays and Saturdays mostly, so there is a really limited amount of time most weekends during the season. A lot stay longer on officials during hoops season, but the majority of officials for football games are Sat-Sun deals.
Good news on Conley.
McQuay is interesting...I have never been sold that he is interested, but the longer this goes...I think it helps us.
Rash decisions are what put him in this position in the first place. I think he should take his time and make the best decision for Gareon Conley.
I'm almost 90% sure he won't be playing football at that point.
Not sure what you are basing that 90% on, but a quick Google search says Armwood plays every week until Nov 2nd. I imagine they will be in the state playoffs, which would start some time after that. With his dad saying the visit coincided with Leon's "bye week" my assumption is their playoffs start the following week. So that is probably the only weekend during the Michigan season where he'd be visiting the full weekend, unless they lose in the playoffs and could've done the same for Iowa.
I am not sure why so many are struggling with LM III having a serious interest in UM. At least he is not moving his recruitment from a top-3 to top-10, top-10 to top-5, back to top-10, etc., like some of our recruits.
I wasn't sure what their schedule was, sorry I don't pay attention to HS football schedules. Figured it was late in the season for Michigan, it would be near the end of his season.
