There's times where all of us question Denard's decisions out on the football field, but there are many times where he is entertaining to watch.
It's hard to believe Denard is already a Senior. As much as I'm excited for the future of this Michigan football team, I think I can speak on behalf of everyone, I'm going to miss Shoelace a whole lot after he leaves.
NO COPY RIGHT INTENDED...
A Tribute video I have made.. This is Denard Robinson Through the years from Freshman to JR year...

I don't see how anybody can hate this guy. He's such a great player, but an even better person. He's the first one to take the blame for a loss, but never takes any credit for a win. Arbuably, imo, the greatest running QB in the NCAAs history. I am sorely going to miss Denard after he graduates. He is my favorite QB of all time.. Hopefully he moves on to a long and prosperous NFL career.. AS A QB.
I COULD CRY
ya...guaranteed...i'm going to cry like a baby

Thanks for the link. After watching I had to immediately send it to a friend who is not a Denard fan.
I can't push it too much since she is getting me tix to the MSU game this coming year.
His first snap vs WMU will stay with me forever. Called my dad up and stated that RichRod has his QB.
If he only had a defense.
His first was at nd!
Sucks that he is a senior, but I'm glad I got to witness one of the greatest players in Michigan history.
He is a player I will tell my kids about and I'll let them know how he was not only great on the field, but was even better off the field. Denard is the definition of a Michigan man and I hope his senior year goes out with a bang.
Check again. ;)
That was AWESOME. What a man. Michigan Man!
Upvotes for everyone itt.
We've been truly blessed to get to watch Denard play for our team. He is a truly special talent and a remarkable young man, absolutely the sort of guy you can't wait to tell your kids and grandkids about. Really the best thing about watching him is the joy with which he plays...I don't think I've ever seen another athlete more obviously thrilled to be out there playing the game than him. I'm going to be very sad to see him go after this year, can only hope he gets a shot at QB at the next level and succeeds. I'll definitely still be a giant fan no matter where he ends up (and yes I realize I'm tempting fate to put him on the Jets or Giants or some equally loathsome team with that statement, don't care, Shoelace is the best).

How can you forget about the first play. I understand if it was a hand off or a 10 yard pass, but to forget that play deserves one more
Nope it was WMU and it was a fifty yard touchdown run that started with a dropped snap. Truly a sign!
Yep, 43 yarder, drops the snap, runs right, cuts left, and shows a burst that made it move.
This. Also here is the video of denard's first play.
Denard Robinson fumbles snap then torches the Western Michigan defense.
I'm thinking if the play, i just misremembered(I think I just made that word up) who it was against.
Weird, I'm not sure how I transposed those in my mind. Probably all agreed for notre dame!
Denard Robinson's 87-yard touchdown run against Notre Dame in 2010. Robinson had 502 total yards and Michigan won the game 28-24.
"If you're not a team player, who's gonna love you?"
One of my favorite quotes of all time, not just from an athlete but from anybody who has ever spoke. There are very few people who can take over a team w/ their personality. And most of the people who do have that ability, are on the negative end. Tebow is the only player I can think of that has the same effect on his teammates, his offensive line & teammates would absolutely follow Denard into any situation without a second guess.
On the playing side of things, he is unconventional as a Michigan QB but he keeps me on the edge of my seat the entire game. I've never seen anybody make speed look so easy, he just strolls along and next thing you know he's 30 yards past everybody.
*** I also believe he has started a new tradition w/ his Maize Rage participation that Shane and the like will gladly fall in line with. I've seen players make special appearance in the student section for nationally televised games for the publicity, but to be there just to enjoy the atmosphere and your fans is something i've never heard of.
Denard needs 1,252 rushing yards to break Pat white's NCAA record for most career rushing yards by a QB. If he gets that many yards he'll also finish his career as Michigan's 2nd all time leading rusher. (Btw he needs 1,812 to pass Mike Hart and become Michigan's all time leading rusher.)

So bittersweet to see how good he (and the offense) was in '09 and '10 to win only 4 conference games and seeing all of those close games (and some blowouts), only to bring it back to team 132 with the unity and bond that the entire Michigan family shared once again after living in the Rod ages. It may be silly, but Denard, Hoke, Martin, Van Bergen, Kovacs, JR, Koger, Molk, and many more just make you really proud to be a Wolverine. Last year was special. And, man, UTL was nuts. Definitely teared up seeing those highlights.
Arguably the most electric player ever at Michigan. Every time I see highlights from the utl game brings a tear to my eye
He's definitely capable, but sadly, I think splitting time with Toussaint and a tough schedule is going to hold hom back from that record. I still consider Denard to be the better rusher though for two reasons.
1. Pat White was a 4 year starter, Denard will only get to start 3
2. The Big Ten defenses Denard faced > The Big East defenses Pat faced.
absolutely, my eyes got a lil watery during that, i remember thinkin before he took his 1st snap, what is RR doin!?! Tate was lookin real good then this other qb drops the snap n i yelled see what are you doin! then he picks it up and scampers 43 for the td and i was like "nice call coach" was not his biggest fan from the start but this kid has won me over big time with his play and even more so with his charecter, such a great guy and humble young man even though he's one of the most amazing athletes ever seen.
I felt the exact same way as you when he came in. i said what the hell. then the fumble happened and i think i said the same thing you said then he started making some moves. I wasn't impressed. then he started his run and i was like those two WMU guys are gonna turn denard into a sandwich then BOOM he accelerates right through the two players and splits them and i was like what the just happened. how did he burst with so much speed through those two guys. fastest burst i ever seen. even the WMU guys where shocked. they thought they where gonna sandwich denard too. after i seen the replay i immediately said this guy might be a major problem for defenses. to much speed at the qb position. its not fair. and this is before i knew he was a master at stopping on a dime and having great cutting ability. im gonna miss him, but i cant say im gonna miss his deep ball. his long passes made me . hope the coaches get him to improve a little bit in deep ball accuracy, he will be solid this year if he improves that. maybe even a heisman with a descent deep ball
