According to Sam Webb and TomVH, we no longer have David Dawson.
Did either hint at what happened?

Well that sucks, but where ever he goes, I wish him the best.
Go Blue and Go Titans!
Not really. But I think the fact that they both phrased it as parting ways, not decommitting, means that it's visits. Dawson kept babbling about how awesome UF is.
Sam Webb @SamWebb77
Word is it's an issue over ongoing desire to take visits.
Dawson will be visiting Florida this week with Cameron Dillard, one of their OL commits who is from Canton.
Wish him the best at UF, hope it goes well for him. Sucks to lose such a good OL, but thankfully that's the one position where we have built up a couple great classes.
Muschamp's persistence paid off then.
And if he decides to cancel the visit? Wishful thinking...
Passed on some big-timers because he took their spot, only to leave us high and dry in the end. Starting to wonder if all the Cass Tech recruiting drama is worth the actual production on the field.
So I take it they sorta kicked him out of the class?
Big loss, this sucks.
I can't believe this? He was one of our best recruiters, this might hurt for Green. This really really blows
It hasn't been so far.
Should see if Ethan Pocic wants to stay closer to home.
And this is one of the reasons why i wasn't happy when we basically quit recruiting Ethan Pocic.
Do you think we go for another OL or just focus on Treadwell/Green/McQuay? We could try to rekindle the fire with McGovern or Pocic, or we could go after Finley.
This was Dawson last week:
@D3_FutureLegend: Just want this #TEAM134 to stay together, #signingday2013 hurry up!!! #GoBlue
Uhh yeah ok..
At least Michigan still has Kalis and Bosch to look forward to.
To be honest, I'd rather Michigan send out more offers to O-linemen in the 2014 class and recruit some of those guys more heavily. We lead for Cole, Doles, Devers, and probably Ward...then there is also Prince, Spain, Jamarco Jones, and countless others who are extremely talented. 2013 class is about wrapped up even with this loss, and they should just go after Treadwell, Green, McQuay, and Conley (keeping him in the fold) now.
So are we done with Dawson for good? To me sounds like that.
We really need 5 OL in this class. Our depth on the OL is still shaky. Depends on if we can land one worth the scholarship.
Eh. We have to take kids at their word, and in-turn, stay true to ours when we say there are X amount of spots available, and when we fill up, that's it.
We were burned. It's going to happen when dealing with teenagers. It just seems to be a reoccurring theme wrt Cass Tech kids.
And Chris Fox. Still think we have the best two OGs with UM
This is so dumb, if he wasn't sure, he shouldn't have committed in the first place.
Sounds like it.
It's done for good.
